- The two-week-plus long encampment on the University of Pennsylvania's campus came to an end Friday morning when protesters were removed and campsites taken down. Police arrested over 30 people. NBC10's Siobhan McGirl reports.

Ironically the Israelis also told civilians to leave Gaza before they started bombing. But Hamas would not let them and killed anyone who tried to leave before the war started

I'm an Archaeologist. It's been on the map since the Romans designated it as Palestine. Do you know what an alphabet is? Phoenicians invented it which is why it bares their name. Palestine and Philistine come from Phoenician. They also enabled the entire Bronze Age by taking boats full of tin from Spain and Britain to the East Mediterranean. When did Israel first make it onto a map? You know in the Bronze Age it was more like Judah/Judea than Israel because they're not the same political entities. You should educate yourself more often if you want to make these statements. It's really not that hard. It's like typing Palestine into a Google maps and you will find it but you are just too sheltered to do that or something. Also in case you and everyone else is clueless a Semite is nearly any Middle Eastern person. Babylonians are Semites, Phoenicians are Semites, Hebrews are Semites. It's silly listening to people use that word too like they know what they are talking about. It's not that hard to get a dictionary just like it's not that hard to get a map.

The Romans referred to the Israelites as "Palestinian" along with the nomadic Arabs in the region who actually were Jordanian and Egyptian.
"Palestine" was never a country.
Arafat made the "Palestinian" claim and he was Egyptian.

Imagine caring more about grass than human life, imagine preferring these optics over some tents during, not even at, your grad ceremony.

Is anybody warning these people about the consequences? If they don't care, why should taxpayers care to fund their grants and other forms of aid? If I was a student on any of these campuses I’d be really angry. I’d be missing classes PLUS my parents spending all that 1:02 money for what? We are in the Inited States.NOT Palestine. I’d they want to help you alerting go there. We spent too many years in Vietnam a conflict that was not ours.
