Larkshill Engineering invest in Correa from DTS

The forward thinking Midlands based subcontractor Larkshill Engineering have recently taken delivery of a Correanayak Performa 5 axis machining centre.
This installation is proof that Larkshill Engineering pride themselves on being one of the countries finest subcontractors.
Larkshill Director Gary Murphy stated that "Larkshill Engineering have a great relationship with Alastair and the rest of the DTS team. The purchase of the Correanayak Performer is further testament to the company and our clients"

I served the first year of my apprenticeship on a correa for that they do with a heidenhien control I don't think their is a better machine on the market.like any trainee it was banged numerous times and it got all the shit heavy work.It was a new machine when I went on but it got absolutely hammered 24/7 hard running not once did it even look like breaking down even after some heavy accidents all you done was turn it off then on then Zero the axis and it was back up and running.I mean some big bangs.Awesome machine It puts your Mazaks etc etc to shame For this kind of work you have to buy Spanish machines Bost are in the same ball park as correa.I spent 8 month on a GMTK that was Spanish and it was also an amazing machine.Union are total waste of time by far the worst machine I ever worked on was a Dorries scharman eco cut with a boring head vertical head and horizontal head total white elephant never worked properly in all the years it was @ Rolls Royce
