The problem with us Taurus suns, is that we HATE being forced into a situation that we think may be uncomfortable, and sometimes we end up enjoying ourselves. One of the hardest lessons for us is stepping out of our comfort zone. Also, when we lack stability, it can literally make us crazy. Personally, if things are up in the air, and I don't know the outcome. If my security is threatened, I can't feel normal until everything is stable. It can take quite a mental toll. We need that solid foundation before we can even think about doing anything else in life.

Yeah, as a Taurus Rising & Sun and Gemini Moon, this has a lot of good insight/validation, especially in thinking about how having a Taurus Rising is a completely different experience than having a Taurus Sun, and how they even interact with each other.

Thank you so much for explaining the Ascendent in contrast to the sun sign. I have had a hard time relating to Taurus but how you described the ascendant is spot on.
Moon in Taurus here. Good post, although I'd add that the moon is exalted in Taurus, and operating at its best it surfs change, rather than being resistant to it. We're the calm eye at the centre of storms: in a nuclear war, we'd be the ones making sure everyone has food and water and shelter. There's an innate security with moon in Taurus that allows us to cope with change - and other people's dramas! - without ever losing our cool (well, barely ever...!).
Thanks for the adage! That's an awesome point of view worth considering, or trying on, when interpreting this placement. Though I personally don't like to promote the idea of a planets being exalted or debilitated; I'm sure with this point of view you've reached a few people that I hadn't.

I know this is an older post...but I find your Cap sun Moon Taurus very interesting. I bet you are a master manifester with that Cap Sun helping your moon..People have told me that I have a magician like energy where I tend to bring to reality my ideas..my sun is in Scorpio..now granted my sun can make the calculations to manifest my moon's desires, but that Cap sun provides that calculation AND that drive...I'm jealous lol

Guess that’s the sturdiness that comes to play. My wife literally has to force me to stay home whenever I get sick, because if it’s not life threatening got to make money for my family. I’m proud of my curves, just wish I was tall. 😕 My attire I dress more on the masculine side with a hint of femininity. I have nothing but patterns and colorful clothes in my closet. People often compliment me. I’m pretty confident in my wardrobe. Now, it took my conservative family to be more comfortable around me. As the bull I’m pretty stubborn and don’t like being controlled.

I'm very secure in my looks and yes I'm definitely curvy. I have my own style and people admire it. I feel this video was dead on but not with the part about Taurus rising not being as secure in themselves as the Taurus sun. I have pretty high self esteem. Yes totally agree coming from Asc Taurus & Virgo Sun. I dress on the more masculine side with a hint of femininity. My closet is full of patterns and colorful. People often give me compliments too on how I dress. Now coming from a Conservative household it took them some years to get use to. I’m that person you can’t control me on what I feel comfortable in wearing.

interesting. my son is a Libra sun, sag moon, and Taurus ascendant. Does this mean he will struggle with insecurity? I've noticed that Libra and sag (Especially sag) kind of need that outside reassurance. I know he will be able to make friends easily, and is definitely outgoing. Just wondering if there is something I can do to help make sure he has a positive self image. Besides what I already do which is encourage and support him and make him feel as special as I can. I am Libra dominant so I know what that energy can do. He also has his moon in the 8th which really makes him hard to pin down. Even for me being a lunar scorpio.
I would actually bet that is Moon will help him stay grounded A LOT when it comes to being able to assure himself. Sag does like outside opinions, but it's usually just so they can see if anyone has ideas better than the ones they have before they go off and try their own idea out.
To help with his image I would just say keep the complements flowing! Being Libra dominant I'm sure you know how a nicely given complement can make your week haha. And if you feel the need to criticize or correct, always have a solutions to the problem at hand. If you criticize without giving him better options he will not see the point in listening.

Depends on the chart as a whole.
No Taurus moon especially gives a more solid outlook of your sun sign you will have that stable presence but you won’t resemble a Taurus sun. They way the planets manifest are very different.

This isn't the video to look for answers to a question of that caliber. This vid focuses particular placements in a non-individualized context, so I wouldn't watch it and expect to hear a reflection of who you are.
I'd take the attitudes/descriptions of the placements that share relevance with the subject (e.g. your Taurus Sun & Ascendant) then use what you've "learned" or "taken from" the video to add to other knowledge based on the rest of your chart.
With that practice I'm sure you can build your own individual and intuitive answer to how to relate to your own chart [on your own terms]. Good luck! :)
