Casemiro was not signed as a central back... this is making him a scapegoat. He is trying his best
and he is only on 350,000GBP a week.

A DM should know about not playing attackers onside, and can't say he was trying his best when it was him walking back to position that cost us a goal

Amad had a decent game hope he is okay
This game showed that Ten Hag messed up the last 3 games because he didn't want to give Amrabat and Amad sufficient game time.
There's got to be big changes, by having our best players back fit for next season, with quality players coming to the club in the summer, And having a stronger squad, The manager will have to prove his worth by the end of next season having the fans feel much more optimistic

Amad was great. His close control was phenomenal. Amrabat too was good but the lack of attacking patterns in the final third is worrying.
Casemiro was being praised when he first played for man utd.
He started to drop off at end of last season but if you mentioned it on social media you risked the fury of those who take a little longer than most to realize the truth!!

honestly i dunno why nobody is talking about it but the biggest reason why you were pretty decent on the ball is because of no Bruno.. Also it helped that Eriksen wasn't on (for the majority of the game) and Casamiro wasn't in CDM.. your mid simply needs huuuge changes, and well your attack is in shambles. i never ever felt any sort of discomfort or nervousness, absolutely toothless, esp when you take a shot from 25 meters out for like the 7th attack in a row...

Arsenal were really poor today, they looked very nervous , they knew they couldn't afford to drop any points so once they went ahead they went into passive mode. They were comfortable defending but barely tried to add to their goal
We do that a lot away from home mate. Last year we lost this fixture by over attacking naively, I think that played a big part in Mikel going for the deep defensive tactics against Utd as well as the need to win.

Put the blame on the coach Casemiro is not a center back (CB) he's a CDM he's used playing in the middle protecting the defense I mean who was protecting the defense Ten Hag should go
Evans was at fault, he's the experienced defender so he should have had his eyes on Casemiro and be driving him to move out. The gap between the two was both comical and fatal. I've seen people trying to blame WBS but he can't cover 1/4 of the pitch against an attacker moving into a wide open space. Utd need some serious surgery on it's defence and get Antony out, I don't know what he does for them, he does nothing with the ball then doesn't do the basics without it leaving Hojland as a lone striker every time the ball goes down Utd's left. Perhaps he needs a 442 formation, because he is missing in a 433 as far as I can see.
United needs what Chelsea could offer: new manager, left back, center back, backup striker. Poch may get the sack if Chelsea don’t win the last two matches. Ian Maatsen is available for 37m. Chalobah is available for 30m. United needs a backup Striker. Broja for 20m.

The team looked like it had actually been coached for once and certainly Arsenal did not control the midfield. Woeful in front of goal still and Hoilund seems intent on proving he is worth almost as much Anthony. £160m between them? If EtH is to go, those are two good reasons why. Maybe Hoilund has a future but he needs to find it quickly. He does not seem to me to have a natural goalscorer’s instinct and for a big man his hold up play is useless. Someone should give him a few videos of Sparky. And Pellistri was more effective than Anthony. I fear if EtH stays he is going to continue banging that drum, this time at Ahmad’s expense.

I have to ask the question. Assuming a Saudi club buys Casemiro, it has to be because they see footballing value in playing him. Either Casemiro is good enough to be playing and United are missing it, or the Saudi's are paying for reputation like United did with Varane and Casemiro a year ago. But it definitely isn't because they are a charity aiming to help PL clubs
I'm sure a slower paced game would help him out, the pace of the Prem is brutal and especially hard on no 6s, he was looking burned out in the second half of last season so he may have broken now.

Given that we had 3 players out of position, and 4 under 21s in the starting XI, plus 3 more coming on, against a supposedly a title challenging side, id say there's hope for the future.
