    Thank you for the tutorial! I made these today (after about 5 attempts, and they turned out beautiful! I had to use 12 mm swarovski chatons - that's the smallest our local stores carry, and metallic light bronze 15/0).

    Finished making a pair of these today with crystal copper chatons. I also added a crystal copper 11mm briolette to the bottom. Love them! There's a surprising amount of detail for a petite and very wearable earring.....I'm sure I'll be making them again in other colors (maybe give them a try with some fire polished beads)

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 лет назад

      Thank you, Sue! I'm going to try to add a briolette too, I'm curious to see how they come. :-)

    • @suew2928
      @suew2928 10 лет назад +1

      Instead of using a 3mm bicone at the bottom, I subbed 2 15's, an 11mm briolette, 2 15's. It tucked in nicely between the 2 points.

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 лет назад

      Hi, Beatriz! You will need to weave through the bead work, the back side of the earring, and, while doing that, tie a few half-hitch knots, two or three, in this manner: weave through some seed beads then tie a knot then again weave through some seed beads and again tie another knot. Weave away from your knot, before cutting off the thread, to avoid the risk of cutting the knot, accdidentally. Here is a link to the type of knot I told you about beadwork.about.com/od/howtos/ss/half_hitch_knot.htm
      I hope this helps you. :-)

      Hi, Lorraine! I don't know about diamonds :-), but you can find the chatons on online stores. Search them by the code 1088 or 1028.
      If you live in the US I recommend fusionbeads.com

    Hi, love this earrings, but I have some questions, can I use 8 mm rivolli for middle? And also, can you show how to make a pendant for those earrings?

    • @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
      @Sidoniasbeadedjewelry  10 лет назад

      Sorry, I just found your comment. You could try, but you'll probably have to reduce the number of the seed beads on the back side, because the rivoli is smaller than the chaton.
