One violin, one synthesizer set on strings, 1 cello, 2 string bass, 3 reeds, 1 trumpet/flugelhorn, 1 french horn, 1 piano, 1 percussionist. A small pit orchestra instrumentation.
I was in the pit learning the trumpet/flugelhorn part so I could fill in as a sub for one of the performances. While there, I figured it was a unique vantage point to capture for those not in the pit.
Too bad you didn’t use the “alternate” (aka original) orchestration. This is a great group of musicians - the full orchestration would have sounded wonderful coming from this ensemble!
