I know this series was popular and critically successful, but I would still consider them underrated. They deserve to be recognized as classics of this generation's blockbusters. One of the greatest protagonists in recent memory, and really pushed the boundaries of CGI and special effects. Also, just an incredible trilogy, with every movie being very unique and telling its own story.

Just watched the movie and i realized that caesar ape is better than most of us humans... he would choose peace rather than war but would fight if he has to, a great leader, a person who value his home and his family, and a great warrior as well :)
Maybe that’s the point of this movie, for us to be more like Caesar, sometimes movies have a meaning like most of the Disney movies have, so kids learn what’s wrong and not but obviously some people didn’t watch Disney 😂
Watched this today, & can honestly say it's the best movie of 2014 so far. Better than Godzilla, better than Xmen. This movie had everyone on the edge of their seat, gasping and cheering throughout the movie. I haven't been so emotionally drawn into a movie in a very very long time. This movie far exceeded my expectations. Literally was "moviestruck" after I came out the theater. Truly incredible film. MUST WATCH!! Dawn, hands down, Koba stole this movie, best villain in the trilogy and the whole film set up the awesome sequel Dawn is legit my third favorite movie of all time

An emotionally powerful film in many ways. You can really sympathize with both the human's or the ape's side of the story. Not to mention, Caesar's friendship with Malcom and conflict with Koba was just brilliantly written.

Dawn and War have books that explain the gaps between each movie. In the gap between Rise and Dawn, according to the book it is hinted that Franco was assassinated but never confirmed. By the time the character of the book gets to his house it is empty. But there was a militia after him , while they were bombing the Forrest.

Go see this movie instead of Transformers 4 please it's worth it. The CGI is way better,there's actual plot,the action scene are awesome, and there is so many emotional moments. I truly recommend this movie. I know I'm going to get a lot of hate but oh well

Eh, I'll still see "Tranformers the Last Knight" just to satiate my curiosity. Don't really have high standards for movies since I never really have a lot of chances to watch them. I also noticed I seem to care very little about stuff like plot or CGI. I'm not sure why, though I'm assuming it has to do with my brain turned off and love of action scenes.

I'm rooting for the apes here. Human beings have had their chance and are destroying each other and this world. You see the apes living in peace and looking for knowledge. That is a society worth to live on this planet. One that respects nature and their kind.
Just got out of the theatre from watching kingdom of the planet of the apes and had to rewatch this trailer. One of the few franchises that I’m actually happy when a new film drops. Not as good as this trilogy but still memorable.

Honestly one of the greatest film trailers in history, at least in my opinion. Just saw War yesterday, fantastic conclusion to a fantastic trilogy of movies. So glad they were able to revive this franchise the way they did.
Loved the film! I watched this at the cinemark on a Saturday. I wanted to watch it on the day it came out but my Mom had things to do. I kept telling my mom,"Aye, That's my movie." "I'm going to watch that movie." "That's going to be an awesome movie." I have never been so excited to watch a action movie. It was heart wrenching, touching, impressive and emotional. The movie does depicts how intelligent apes are and they are one of my favorite animals. The script writes did great work with those lines. "Humans destroyed each other." The baby was so cute>3

I really think this movie was amazing... It felt like such an intelligent movie especially with the Quote by Caesar when he was in his old house where he talked about how he had realised how much apes and humans look alike... Since i saw it in the theater i have been thinking if that quote was meant as a racial issues thing considering how humans seperate people from a different part of the world from them because they look so different but yet in the end we might aswell realise how much we look alike... Amazing movie i am without a doubt getting it on DVD
What caesar said wasn't in reference to similarities in how humans and apes look. But rather how stupid and selfish we can be. He thought that all apes would be above that and be a better species, but was proven wrong due to Koba's actions.

Watching that scene when Caeser watches an video of him and himself when he is younger gives the film an emotional depth.

Probably one of the best movies I've seen since The Dark Knight. For me that's saying something
Best movie of 2014, by far. An epic achievement. I've seen it twice already. It's so amazing. If this isn't in the running for Movie of the Year in any awards, I riot.
What is Commissioner Gordon doing in this movie? Wait! Does that mean Batman will make an appearance to save the day?

I really think this movie was amazing... It felt like such an intelligent movie especially with the Quote by Caesar when he was in his old house where he talked about how he had realised how much apes and humans look alike... Since i saw it in the theater i have been thinking if that quote was meant as a racial issues thing considering how humans seperate people from a different part of the world from them because they look so different but yet in the end we might aswell realise how much we look alike... Amazing movie i am without a doubt getting it on DVD
What caesar said wasn't in reference to similarities in how humans and apes look. But rather how stupid and selfish we can be. He thought that all apes would be above that and be a better species, but was proven wrong due to Koba's actions.
