  • Your parents must have given you a toy when you a toddler. Now you’ve grown up. But did the toy grow too? Well, that’s the difference between a living and a nonliving thing.
Living things need certain elements to live and grow. Living things such as humans, plants and animals survive because of oxygen, food, water, and shelter. Nonliving things don’t require anything to survive.
Living things can move such as a fish swims, birds fly, humans walk, and plants show movements. Whereas a nonliving thing can’t move on its own until we move it. For example, a car can move only when we are driving it. If we don’t drive it, it will remain in the same place unless it is moved.
Another differentiation is living things can reproduce while nonliving things can’t reproduce. Chicken lays an egg, people have babies, cows have calves and so on.
Let's learn more about living and nonliving things along with the KID company and they bring in a new Robot.
