I kept the fan blades/parts from 2 fans we replaced in our rental property, thinking it would be fun to try and find some craft project to do with them. So i googled "art projects to make with old fan parts," and your video popped up first thing. I lost my son Jordan on 10/17/22, and the loss has been so hard, especially during the holidays this year. Jordan always had a love of Dragonflies, he joked that they were his spirit "animal." Since he died, I've had some bizarre experiences with dragonflies, so everytime I see one, it makes me think of him. Your video gave me the inspiration on what these old fan parts will become, and they gave me a peaceful moment and happy memory of my son in the middle of a really sad day for me. Thank you ❤️‍🩹

Cool project, I like it. Only suggestion is that I was left wanting the completed project shot from straight-on. All we got was the angled one. Cheers!

What were the measurements on the platform for the fan blades?

    What dimensions is the plateform?

I laid the blades out on the plywood and traced it. The platform would change based on the size of the fan. Mine is about 7 inches.

I use a D ring picture hanger. And then anchor in some screws to hang it on.
