The Saladmaster T304 stainless steel set we bought in the 1980’s has been a workhorse, and still going strong. However, we recently bought an induction stove, and to my shock, the 11” skillet doesn’t work on it! Why would this happen if it’s stainless steel? (All the other pieces of the set are induction compatible.)
I own the classic set. The branding is one of the worst company decisions I have ever come across. Saladmaster. Dumb AF. For such expensive cookware and that’s the name they came up with. Lol
You must not be aware of the company history. And why that name was chosen 75 years ago. The only product was the salad machine, the food processor. The owner literally sold it out of the trunk of his car, and build the business from there.

My mom's had hers for 30+ year and she shan't had to replace them. If anything, the handle needs to be replaced
We bought our set in 1974 or ‘75. Not a single valve has gone bad.
