Hard to call this a whirligig for me. I would absolutely refer to this as "ART IN MOTION". I think this is Beautiful and the speed is actually relaxing to watch. You have designed, built and displayed a wonderful piece of art for many to enjoy. Thank you Joel.

my some of my whirligigs get broken in strong winds ..do you take this down in strong winds..thanks
In winds gusting in excess of 20 mph I hook a vise grip to the blades to prevent them from turning.
If I expect strong winds I clip a pair of vise grips to the propeller . In gales I take it down
