    Brilliant.
    Your footage of the close up lift method is the best that I have ever seen, it's great to see the float react to the bite.
    It make's you feel like your there.

    Much nicer to catch them on the float than all that carp gear bolt rig nonsense.... ;-)......

    Great Video - Some nice tench there Chris, they are a fantastic fish and great fighters. There's nothing like a nice warm meal on your burner on a cold morning to warm the cockles. Keep your centerpin clicking and keep following those tench bubbles. Now where's my tench rod ?

    Great videos Chris. I have lived in Australia for over 40 years and always loved England's freshwater fishing as a lad. Your videos are done it such a good way, with close-ups of your float showing the bites and zooming out to show the fight. About as close as one can get to actually fishing ourselves. Great work mate.

      Hi Chris, in the Fresh water here it's mainly Trout, Carp and Perch. There used to be Tench here, but they have become rare in recent times. I mainly fish in the salt water rivers and bays, from a kayak. Have had great sport on light gear using bread for mullet, bream and trevally, which all fight like they are on steroids. All the best, Phil.

      Many thanks mate, hope your enjoying the lift method, been trying it with a driftbeater float. Seems to be effective when there's some chop on the water. Thanks for your comment and keep on catching, I can't wait for next May.

      Hello mate, hope you are well. Not been up to much fishing wise this year. I did some Tench fishing on a new syndicate venue and had some nice fish. I'm going to put the footage I have with next years sessions mate. Going to try and get some fishing in somewhere over Xmas and the new year. All the best mate and stay safe.

    Thanks for putting all of your videos up.
    I am working my way through them and haven't seen one which I didn't really enjoy.
    The tench and pike series brought back lots of happy memories and may even inspire me to go back to fishing especially with a centre pin.
    Which reels do you use or recommend?

    • @fishermanchris4092
      @fishermanchris4092  7 лет назад

      Hello Steve, I have two centrepins that I use regulary both being okuma's. One is an aventa pro which has taken up permanant residence on my tench float rod and the other is an okuma sheffield which I mainly use for barbel fishing on smaller rivers and float fishing for carp. The price of these has shot up a lot since I bought mine but that's the case with everything as you will know. Thanks for your comment Steve and I hope you get back onto the bank, only a few more weeks and I'll be dusting the tench gear off and putting fresh line on the reel. Can't wait for those misty dawns watching a float, all the best mate.

    Me and some mates are going to fish at the warping drain. Im thinking about using a feeder down to a size 16 hook and worm or double maggot. Would i be likely to catch or would the feeder be a waste of time?

    • @fishermanchris4092
      @fishermanchris4092  8 лет назад

      You can give it a go mate but that drain does become very weedy, take a rake and give it a good dragging before you start, best of luck buddy.
