    Man it feels good to have a young core to build around again. Its starting to feel like we're on the right track. Enjoy your weekend Bradley.

    Keaton Wallace currently is better than Bufkin. I'm not saying Bufkin shouldn't get those minutes if healthy, he's a first round pick that needs to develop. But that's not even close to a reason they've lost 9 games.

    Brad, sure Hunter & Bogi are not injured no more, but now Trae is sadly injured

    Brad, agreed we will be fine considering the injuries and tough scheduling. Seems like all of our home games have been on the tail end of B2B against resting teams. I do however expect better than .500. Tired of win a game lose a game, win2 games , lose 3 games as we have literally been doing for the past 3 years.

    Oof some of these questions... fans dumping on guys who have been back for 1-2 games clearly have no idea how the game works.

    Brad, record aside… are you seeing growth? Better decision making? They are so inconsistent it is hard to be optimistic.

      Hawks have more upside than majority of teams, assuming the team stays healthy there is no reason that they can’t be top 5 seed by playoffs. Also Trae has clearly been playing hurt since he has no burst since the Achilles problem and bogi who is the teams sparkplug has been playing awful. On paper the Hawks have a better team than the ECF run, they just need to play like it.

      @@BlackDogYellowDogI’m not focused on Trae’s ‘maybe’ injury. I’m focused on his bad habits for turnovers. If I wanted to watch someone dribble into a crowd, get in trouble, then throw it away……… I’d go watch my son’s 3rd grade team play. Injuries don’t cause those bad decisions.

    • @BlackDogYellowDog
      @BlackDogYellowDog 23 дня назад

      @ That is true that he makes dumb decisions, but he’s also bound to make these dumb decisions when he runs the offense almost every single possession. I’m not defending his stupid decisions and he definitely can turn it over less and take smarter shots but that’s not the reason we lose games. We lose games cuz they play with no effort like against warriors and shoot poorly or against the wizards and pistons where they have big weak stretched. The whole team needs to be more consistent like u said, and I agree Trae makes bad decisions sometimes but those aren’t the main reason for when this team loses.

    I think the critics are so vocal on the Hawks simply because the product actually looks promising this year. Watching the guys there's real optimism of what the future can be with this young nucleus. they're expecting quicker results than what's actually logical (me included). I think the future is pretty bright, the team just needs to continue to gel, and the new pieces and all the injuries slowed the process. Keep the faith this team will be ok just need to become a little more cohesive on D, do have to admit the juries still out on Bufkin to me.

    Hawks has more bad players. Sometimes I think Garrison is better than Bogi. Wallace seems to be better than Kobe. The players are so close in talent. Play the one that looks like he wants to play.

      Facts there's actually a big role in heart/motivation when it comes to an athlete and playing well they'll give their all and do great things sometimes I see some of these guys and you think to yourself replace them with the ones on the bench who got the spark in them and actually play well whenever they get their chance

      Garrison has value as a player but him vs. Bogi is not particularly close if you can look beyond the last few days.

    Should’ve taken Cam Whitmore instead of Kobe Bufkin

  • @Spencetenor
    @Spencetenor 23 дня назад +2

    The discourse around kobe is ridiculous. Kobe has honestly not even played poorly. He hasnt shot the ball well, but he does get us into a nice flow offensively, which was something that was really lacking with keaton in there. And he is playing super well on defense. Just give him some time to knock down some shots and people will be singing his praises again.
