She can’t replace Shannon but honestly she doesn’t need too. She makes him open up in a way that he never did before. I love their relationship and hope we get to see a little more Slibbs in season17.
After reading the other comments, I agree, Jack could be Gibbs' true one. He loved Jenny it seemed, but he didn't even tell Jenny about Shannon and Kelly. Jack and he have opened up so much to each other. It is time Gibbs got married and had a happy ending. She gets his job, his team. She gets him. They are great for each other.
Just thought about it, at Christmas, even if it was a kiss on the head, he did kiss her. He never kissed Jenny. Jack gets Gibbs and he gets her. Jenny was pushy and snippy with Gibbs and Jack is caring.
She came into the series like a sledgehammer breaking down walls built for decades, that’s what I like about Sloane.
If these two do end up together I want a scene where Gibbs takes out his box of rules and burns Number 12.

He has all of them written down. He stores them in a box. I can't remember what episode it was where Gibbs sees a memory of Shannon going through them all. Also I have heard of rules in the 60s, but I don't know how many there are.
