    0:54 , Hi! I don't get this bit, isn't the lumen the space _enclosed_ by the membrane, and the photosystems are located _on_ the membrane?
    secondly, why is it called intermembrane space of the thylakoid? do they happen to mean positioned between the two layers of the phospholipid bilayer? like i just came from cell resp and the intermembrane space is very clear, but i cant understand why IB called the position of the photosystems as the intermembrane space, can someone help me??
    and also, why isn't the electron transport chain in mitochondria referred to as being in an intermembrane space when its positioned exactly like these photosystems?
