Nice job! I've got two WFL Super Classic snares ('48 and '58) - they sound amazing. The '48 has the old-style butt plate with the extended snare wires on both sides - so it's a bit drier/poppy sounding compared to the '58. Both are built really well. I also use Simichrome on all my nickel hardware - works wonders. I just got a 1960 Ludwig Trans Badge Duco Pioneer a few days ago that needs to be cleaned - that's my next project!
Great sounding drum. Are you tightening the snares every time you engage them because you have to loosen them when you disengage them for them not to slap against the head?
Hey Daniel! When I engage the snare throw with the snare wires at the correct tension from the off position I feel that there's a lot of tension on the baseball bat. I don't want to risk breaking it so I keep retightening it every time I re-engage the snares. Thanks for watching!
Nice, enjoy!! Learned some new cleaning tricks while looking (and listening) at a piece of history, can't beat that!
Thank you for watching!

Great sounding drum
There's something very zen about a good drum cleaning.
That snare has a great pop! Bottom head cranked table top tight?
Agreed! Bottom head is fairly tight. (Around a B natural). Thanks for watching!
Good wipe
