You guys don't even know the emotions and elation of Kasey Kahne, my man, finally getting back to victory lane and ending his 102-race winless streak at one of the most famous tracks in NASCAR, Indianapolis. I was so emotional, I was crying tears of joy and happiness.
Fisher Isbell Yeah I know. You have to take into consideration how much pressure Kasey was under going into this race, not only for him in the points but his future for Hendrick Motorsports.
As a Truex fan, I know that feeling all too well. After he broke his 214 race winless streak I wouldn't shut up about it hahaha. Happy for Kahne and the 5 team, heartbroken for the 78 and 18. They had the best cars, bar none. Oh well, onto Pocono!

Oddly enough, out 2 of the 5 fantasy leagues I'm doing well in, Danica is the only driver that didn't get wrecked this race out of all my picks. Also, glad Kasey finally broke his winless streak
Chatty Matty The only reason is because it was getting dark and Indy has no lights, the drivers and fans wouldn't have waited to do 1 restart on Monday while the fans have to work and the drivers have to get back to the shop
Two things that disappoint me. The attendance and the overtime line. What a crazy race. I do not see how these drivers do this every weekend. NASCAR is so demanding physically and mentally. This is one of the most technical sports of all time.
I am very glad Kasey won. The race was pretty exciting with all the wrecks, Kyle and Martin running away with it and then crashing each other, the fuel mileage, Bayne looking like the favorite, the three wide attempt with Jimmie blowing up, and Kasey refusing to let the win slip away. Nascar does need to take away the overtime line though and just make it the start/finish line again. Every time it appears that there is a wreck well before the overtime line Nascar seems to take too long to throw a caution and the drivers make it past the OT line. Its almost as if Nascar is saying they don't want multiple restarts, but pretends to care that multiple restarts are good.

It's clear in my mind that Kahne will get eliminated. Some weeks he can't even run top 20. As for Stenhouse, he just isn't good at anything that's not a plate track. When you look at the others that are probably going to make it, Kurt Busch, Kenseth, and Blaney are the worst of them, and they are way far ahead of these 4.
RH421939 do you want another marathon, in the sun, for hours in end, with no caution? While I haven't experienced it, it has happened (Talladega 2001) and I assume it's a bad experience. Stage Racing is good. As for the chase, just go back to 2013 lol. It was fine then IMO.
lightningmatt the 2001 talladega race had a new leader nearly every lap. They were consistently three and four wide and the lack of cautions was down to the skill of the drivers. There were two lead changes on the last lap

Rusty Ralston kasey won because he flat out out drove all the past chamions on the final restarts that tried to challenge him unsuccessfully! He was the guy that was infront the overtime line didn't win him the race he out drove and out smarted the driver behind him.
Rusty Ralston the other drivers had 3 chances to beat him and could not get it done. The race would have ended due to darkness even if the caution comes out. It would have taken a good 15 minutes to get back to green after that.
