Ravana, often described as having ten heads and twenty arms, should not be interpreted literally. Instead, it symbolizes his throne, which had twenty arms extending outward to signify his dominance over his territory. His crown, depicted as conical with nine heads, further emphasized his grandeur. In the Ramayana, Ravana is described with this imposing physical structure only in the assembly hall or throne room; in other contexts, he is portrayed as having a normal human form.

the so-called "monkey army" was not made up of actual monkeys. The term vanara refers to a tribe or forest dwellers who may have worn costumes resembling monkeys. Even today, some tribal communities adopt costumes, feathers, and animal-like decorations for cultural or ceremonial purposes, drawing parallels to this ancient depiction.

This is just 10 main Avatar of Vishnu
    There are more
In Hinduism, deities are often depicted with multiple arms to symbolize their immense power and ability to perform many actions simultaneously, representing their superhuman capabilities and divine functions beyond what a normal human can achieve; each arm usually holds a symbolic object signifying different aspects of their power, like protection, creation, or destruction.

I'd say Buddha wasn't an avatar. He was more like a human who realised the true nature of the universe and acted on it. The other incarnations all knew they were incarnations. Buddha didn't.
As for the rest I'd say we are all like him. It wasn't that buddha wasn't god or Krishna was God, we are all the same. Made of same energy or soul. When the body is no more , all the souls mix in the universe and that is what creates , sustains and destroys everything. So in a way we are all God. But the thing is , our body is an impurity. Like if god is an ocean and we take a glass of water from the ocean, the water in the glass is the soul and the glass is the body. The fresher it is, the clear it is. So children are more connected to their higher selves. And as result they might see or say stuff that adults find unsettling. The older the glass of water gets it starts to get bacteria, dirt, fallen leaves, all the impurities we get as we age. That clouds our vision and judgement. And as result we stop seeing the truth. But buddha was one of the humans who realised the truth and found a way to purify it. As for me , I'm not currently interested in purifying it. More like not capable.

but god rama never said that he is a god

    • @sevencolourdreams
      @sevencolourdreams Месяц назад

@wordopia5270 imagine you save a whole country right now by killing a person so monstrous that people would fear by only their name. You somehow managed to kill him , maybe you were stronger, maybe you had the skill, maybe you used your head.. but you did it anyway. And people start to worship you like crazy. As a hero. Your stories are written with a bit of magical touch. Like " they used the great Power bestowed upon him by the heavens and severed the head of the monster threatening the lives of so many who just by flicking a finger could summon a whole army of shadow soldiers" ... This line while wouldn't really be a lie but wouldn't actually be exactly accurate either. Then this story is passed down for generations and somewhere in time the original truth got lost and only the fictional part remained in the minds of people. What do you think you will be called after a few thousand years?
Raam never claimed to be God. We did. We made him god. He was just a devoted king and husband. So much so that every other kind respected him. And followed his path. Ravans 10 heads is probably just a metaphor of his extreme intelligence. Like we say mothers have 4 arms because of how much work they do and how well they do them. Just a metaphor

2:50 the similarity with the Noah's ark story could be because, it's believed by some people and historians (idk if it's true or not) that Jesus actually visited ancient India and stayed there for 15 yrs with the Rishis( sages of Vedic/hindu culture).
The Rishis gave him the knowledge of the Vedic culture, spirituality and ancient Indian knowledge, after which Jesus gained enlightenment and the special powers associated with him, he then returned and tried to spread what he learned to the people there, after which the people there started to worship him.
This claim is backed by some hints in some exts. From a historical pov, there is a period in Jesus's early life where he just kinda disappeared for about 15yrs, and there is apparently some Tibetan texts in a Tibetan monasteries which mention a foreign person with characteristics similar to that of Jesus and some other hints.
Honestly that would explain why the story of Manu and Noah's ark are almost the same and why both Christianity and Hinduism talk about a final deity incarnating to earth on a white horse on the "judgement day" to get rid of evil and basically end the world.

@ActuallyEllrod avatars in hindusim are of 6 types... This video mixes 3 different types of avatars... And then back story mistakes in every avatar(those small changes just effect whole meaning)
To understand this, all you need to know is
God does "lila", those avatars are not about just being heroic or protecting the dharma but they all focus on lila(check the concept of lila)

"16 Hindu philosopies explained like a strategic game" by Hindu pixcels. It's also in English 90%. You'll love it. And best video to attract audience.

Buddha doesn't fit the chronology. That's all. It makes no sense that Buddha could appear after Krishna who is the end of Dwapara Yuga. It should be Balaram, Krishna's brother who introduced and created the culture of agriculture. Gautama does not belong here as an avatar.
and yes, kalki is definitely trump lol
