Can you apply the drone overlay effect to just one corner of your screen? I want to use it in some footage that is already overlayed over my main shot. Do you know how to do this?

Simple answer: yes!
Out of the back of my head I would suggest applying the effect within the Fusion page and then add a mask to the portion that you want to show. The exact way to go I have to figure out myself and then make a tutorial on this. This can take a while though since I'm very occupied by things that life just recently threw at me though. You know how this goes.

Second thought: here is a suggestion that you can probably easily try for yourself in the meantime. It's not the high end professional style, but will actually bring the same result.
Put the footage on the timeline. Alt+drag the footage one track above it in order to make a copy. Put the drone effect on that copy. Open this clip in the Fusion page and add a a mask to it (revers it if needed) at the part that you want to show.
This should do the trick.
