Thanks, Mike! I actually am the cook for our senior center. I started a rhythm band before Covid. We probably will be closed for a while yet. I started a rhythm band over a conference call. (Seniors don’t do zoom or FaceTime!). They all have buckets and wooden spoons. I listen to you and get ideas for different rhythms and sounds to teach them. Thank you so much for your ideas!!!

Aw, Mike! This is cool. I have been playing this very fill for years by starting it on a kick & cymbal on the first note of beat one, thereby giving the fill a 16th note triplet feel. This appears to be an inversion of that very same filll. Now, I can turn this fill upside down and get a much more cool factor and slightly different feel. It’s going to require some drilling, however. How incredibly cool!!!😎

Yes ..i enjoy this ... Ive been doing this exact type idea frequently recently..kinda comes naturally once you got the principle down a time or 2..then it becomes fun as hell mixing it up all over kit..👍👍🎵✔great video man..😁🎶
