Choosing a Statistical Analysis Program (Excel vs. SPSS vs. R)

In this video, I discuss the pros and cons of Microsoft Excel, IBM SPSS, and R for those who are just getting started with statistics and data analysis. I also conduct brief demonstrations using each program.
These are just my perspectives and experiences. Others may disagree. You should play around with the programs to come to your own conclusions.
ERRATA: At the 02:18 mark, I stated that SPSS stands for "Statistical Program for Social Sciences." But from what I can tell, IBM prefers that the program simply be referred to as "SPSS."
