The lively, good-humored Ramblers introduced generations to old-time string band music and influenced artists as diverse as Doc Watson and the Holy Modal Rounders. This collection of 26 songs and instrumentals highlights the virtuosity and splendid variety of 12 Folkways albums recorded by the original group (John Cohen, Tom Paley, and Mike Seeger). "...[A]musing in spots, touching in others and captivating all the way through..." - The Fresno Bee

My dad (R.I.P.) loved this song.
Frank Kelch Your dear ‘ol Dad was on to something!
best band ever
Amen! Unfortunately rarely known, nor played these days. Invariably, their musicianship superior to that on archival material they based their performances on, in my opinion.
We sang this one for our friend, Tim, whose new girlfriend invited him out to buy his own dinner at a five star restaurant.
so funny!
