- In this video, we reunite with Crip Mac, a Channel 5 Hall-of-Famer and renowned community activist. Shortly after our last interview with Crip Mac in 2021, he was sentenced to 27 months for violating Probation, but was recently released from Prison. This documentary features interviews with Crip Mac's mother, 'Mama Bear,' his best friend Lupe, China Mac, ODM Slim, Syke G, and beyond, the immediate aftermath of his release.

Please understand that "learning" can be more than just learning new information directly from a person. The individual you have replied to clearly indicated that they learned not to judge a book by its cover, i.e. they expected to have a good laugh but learned that there's more to be had from the video that basal entertainment.
They learned that there's more to crip mac than meets the eye, get it?
While some might actually "learn something from him", there's nothing wrong with that either, and I hope you come to realize that learning about yourself and the world from a variety of sources is better than dismissing them.

Just got bailed out of jail and I was on suicide watch, my siblings got together and helped me out with my bail. I was getting into depression but there are people out there who love you and if you haven't found them yet, try to love yourself and you shall find your family even if it is a chosen family (blood family relatives are not always family)

damn that veteran really stood out as someone who has served his country and left with nothing but trauma. he seemed very broken yet wise from crip macs brief talk with him.

America took everything away from him and fed him false promises. How will he recover when he has to live in a country that fed him to the wolves and pretends like they didn’t and care while he watches his fellow service members deteriorate around him.
Seeing the sheer joy on crip macs face when he gets to hand out free food to people and help the community is a genuinely beautiful thing to see. Shows you nobody really wants to be a gang banger and killing people and what not its just what the life in those areas forces you to become. If things were different im sure crip mac would do that every single day. An obviously hilarious character, but not just a character he is a beautiful soul

Respect for Crip Mac, I think few people truly are like that: real, loyal and unapologetically 100% themselves. He cares about people around him. And he's not a hypocrite either, the way he caught himself when telling kids to not join gangs. He couldn't really knock it because it's his lifestyle, and it's really up to kids to make their own decisions. I don't think I can judge that, especially being not from U.S. it's a different perspective

100 percent agree with you my man, thats something to respect above all else. Genuine integrity and intentions even if misguided at first, say what you want about him but at the end of the day he’s a genuine dude looking out for others in a genuine way. That is something I will have respect and fight for until I die

And I know this has dragged on but I also (bias warning) really like mac because of his oppositional defiance order because I haven’t met many others like that which I had no goddamn clue was a thing until I was 18 finishing high school where I actually tried to understand my mental “issues”

@@Badj4s I understand that he has a persona and stuff for when he's out on the streets and especially on social media, but for the most part I think you can see his true self, especially when he was very serious with the interview questions
I mean hes not wrong, you can watch video on youtube that show you he aint from the hood and that he lied about being a crip before coming to LA, i also thought in the beginning this was real, but theres a reason he gets DP all the time and he has nobody with him while going around in the hood
I love how there are some many angles to Andrew's videos. Struggle, physical pain, poverty, but also those good ones like humour, comradery, family, and many, many others.
BUT.....
I believe the most important thing is, there's never no bias on Andrew's side. When you start watching a video, it doesn't matter how "shocking" you think it could be, you will always find some hidden values. However, they are shaped!
