Brother if it's warranty is expired then those Mi Engineer can guide you better because officially that may cost you around 14k i suppose. So i think they are giving you a good offer
@@kooftech7077 how are the viewing angles on the new panel because on my replaced panel, they look very bad. The skin tones look greyish and washed out when viewed from a wide angle and all the colors tend to fade as you move from front to side. Did you observe it on your panel as well?
@@gauravprakash Actually my experience was totally opposite to yours. The picture quality and colours were better then the one from old panel. The backlit was brighter ion the edges in the older panel but was even like the rest of the screen in new one. I didn't face any issue regarding viewing angle and with the blacks. I hope i was able to answer your question.

Nope.. only manufacturing defects are included in warranty. So you cannot get a free screen replacement unless you have taken any insurance from a third party that include physical damage

Hi, I got MI tv 43"4k tv, which got 2 very thin horizontal line on the top, as my warranty was about 8 days to get expired, hence scheduled the TV screen replacement, as the technician initial visit was to just check the TV, told screen would be replaced after a week, almost after the warranty expires, after a week he got the box already unboxed saying your whole TV would be replaced, after replacing the TV, quality was such a crap the blacks were grey.. The picture quality wasn't like before.. I refused to take the tv and told to install the old one again as the line weren't so visible, told I vil manage with it. It doesn't make sense to replace the expensive screen after warranty expires rather than buying a new one. Inspite my replacement was under warranty, but why to take the crap. The new screen does not has its own warranty. Hope it help others who are going for screen replacement. Invest on the new one.
Hello friends, I brought my tv 55 inches in Oct 2019. After buying a tv, I have replaced my Tv 3 times. After every 3 months tv starts developing black patches on its screen. Yesterday, only I received my 4th TV panel. This time they crossed all their limits by bringing the panel in unsealed packing. The panel is looking 1-2 year old without any company sticker. I refused to take that. Not only in product quality, now they have started compromising in after-sales services. This is my true TV review. Don't dare to buy Mi tv if you love your money. Don't compare it with Mi phones quality. Otherwise, you will suffer like me.
My mi tv 55", has same issue. Exactly after one year the main board stop working. Then after one year now, the panel starts showing dead spot. Panel replacement cost they told me 30k.
For what problem did you schedule the visit? If it was for something related to panel then there should not be a service charge. For any other fault, the service charge will be applicable!
