I can spot lot of plastic waste along with the organic waste. The compost produce will have more of microplastics as well. this will hamper the soil in longer run. Why isnt segregated waste used in the process?
Separation before composting is a costly affair and not affordable. The entire mixed waste is being wetted by spraying water mixed with Bioculum culture. The reaction separates the organic and non organic waste . The dumps you see are years old when segregation was not done . Now the collection of waste is separated from the source to a great extent so wet and waste end up at separate places

This culture reacts with organic matter and converts it to compost which is then segregated via a vibrator or rotator. The rest non organic waste is further processed .
Great work sir 👍🏻 .But i think this video is not complete.It is about making an organic compost.But in this process first we need to segregate the waste which contains different form of plastic,fabric, rubber material and food waste which i can see through this video.Here in this video ,the segregation part is missing.It seems like they are treating all waste equally and generating compost from everything which is not possible.This video is definitely failed to cover some major important steps.

In Ahmedabad kabadi collectors go house to house and buy much of the recyclable plastic ( bottles ,containers,milk pouches and such products and also most of the paper too) and people are are happy to receive some money against it
