Protrek with a mudman body
I just got yellow/black Rangeman last month. I think that one still looks way better
I like it. Glad to see they got rid of the silly segmented sections on the dial, like on the old Mudman and my Rangeman. The new display is much cleaner. Time to retire my Rangeman.
Mind if I ask what do you do for a living?
The best PRO TREK, I think.
Good design but same features with the gw-9400
i am concerned about the display personally. I had a Protrek and the dual layer display lacked contrast. I would have much preferred an updated GW9400 Rangeman with updated sensors and ideally a MIP display.
@@ianmaw66 your right. They should develop atleast advance features but it's good though.
Gw 9400 is trash with its easily breakable tiny plastic lugs
The least they could have done is to add Moon Phase and Tide Graph.
I was hoping for a MIP display...
The display reminds me on the old digital pro trek watches with compass function. I expected a little bit more from a new mudman. Especially after the new Rangeman

Unfortunately this doesn't have STN display so it's pretty much impossible to read anything unless it's in perfect light. Anyone who has experienced the negative display Rangeman will know how frustrating that is.
Wish G Shock would come out with a EMP proof watch

Cool but looks cheap
If this thing had Bluetooth connectivity it would be the best G ever made
To be honest, G-Shock Bluetooth App is not the best in the market. I have a GGB100 Mudmaster with Bluetooth; it's good for the first two connections to set up all the settings and time, but after that, it's completely useless.

The Protrek is much better because it has STN display, so even negative display is perfectly legible.
Nothing new just a lot more expensive I guess...
