Kotare Village is a profoundly healing place. Learned more in 3 months of an apprenticeship there than in 10 years anywhere else.

How amazing!!.. This looks like a beautiful place to meditate, get in touch with nature, people and to give back to each other in a helping way.. Well done!.. Society these days lives in a material world.. Its nice to see communities like this in NZ :-)

Next comes the cordial haha.. nono I'm sure these guys are more grounded than Jim Jones, but I imagine if he where still around his ad would have looked just like this. I'm actually a great supporter of this style of living, I myself live on the organic farm where I work and save great costs in fuel and food (still fuel in a way) simply by living this way. Goodluck to you all, the struggle to get into these positions from cities and suburbs is worth it.

I wonder what sort of hours the residents work? The real proof of these places would be that one nurtures health not just by cultivating real food but by living a lifestyle suited to the sort of animal that we are.

This is a real better lifestyle.
Just have a real listen to their vision/purpose statements.
Now if only its foundation hadn't been based on money.
Then the world's ways -; would have been already corrected.
But it seems, they're already well on their way
    - to weaning themselves off - the world's way.
