I've found it to be absolutely worthless in rural UK due to the lack of subscribers. It has failed to alert me to the majority of fixed motorway cameras in Scotland, as well as a mobile unit location where I was 'pinged' by the parked up 'safety' van. It will often just not bother to connect to my iPhone until the journey is well under way. My only positive is that I got mine at a bargain price on eBay, so I'm not too bothered about binning it.

what are the benefits of this over the waze app or waze+carplay/android auto?

It is in the Waze app yes, this is ideal for those that have older cars or don't use Waze, but yes it's very similar to the Waze app. It's just another variant of the product that has a surprisingly large community behind it too

That’s no point to test a speed device at home instead

Is this any better than Waze ?

It's very similar to Waze, in fact it runs off the same systems I believe. The only slight advantage to this is that you can use it anywhere even without a phone from what I've found, but effectively it is the same product as Waze :)

It CAN NOT detect Speed cameras of any type!
The ability of the user to confirm or report a speed camera (or hazard) is considerably more than a feature with the ooono, its actually fundamental to how it works.
You say a few times it can 'detect' speed cams (and hazards)
    IT CAN NOT !!!
Its useing crowdsourced data provided by the likes of wayze users
This device is nothing more than a button with a led and sounder inside.
Your whereabouts is determined by the app and your phones gps.

It's interesting you have said this, this does seem to be something I have found as using it. It was mentioned shortly after the video was published but I wasnt 100% certain as the company stated it would detect them but I feel you may very much be correct.
I did travel a few times however without my phone and the device did still go off when it wasnt connected to my car too so they may have some form of gps within the device, but that said with regards to the data outsourced by other apps I think you may be correct.
I aim to try and release content with the most factual information I can and Im only too happy to accept if something isnt correct. Im going to do some more digging and try and find out exactly the situation and how it does work and if you are indeed (which Im beginning to believe you are!) correct then I will release a further video outlining my findings.
Thank you for the comment and for almost mirroring other comments made to me regarding this device.

I think they are just playing fast and loose with their marketing.
Lets put it this way, i doubt very much that device has any GPS tech inside.
I wouldn't suggest opening it but if its easy to do.. may be worth a peep.
Keep doing the videos and please don't take my comment as trolling.
