Thanks for sharing, Connie !!! Does the liquid from the okra change the taste of the syrup? I’ve never seen this technique before. Seems interesting, but I’m just concerned that it might make the syrup taste funny/different. Any thoughts ?? Thanks 🙏
@@chewconnie , thanks for the quick reply and the info. I’m excited to try this. And thanks so much again for making and sharing this video. Very helpful, for sure 👍🤩

We all do. It brings back lots of sweet memories to the time when I was a little girl. Our family would travel back to our hometown in the north from the south where we lived during long term holiday every year. We would always stopped at a small town in Seremban to have a glass of freshly squeezed sugar cane juice ☺️
Hi there. I feel it is possible except that I did not proceed to that level. I was just trying out cooking this first batch and was too happy to see the end result that I stopped at that 🙂
Dear Nguyen, thank you for asking. I have forgotten however it probably took me around 3 hours. Great patience is required a little, and just observe until you get the consistency that you want 🤗
Thank you for your question. I won't be able to answer you this as I am not an expert in range of sugar. I was just PLAYING with it by cooking this first pot and I was too happy to see the result and I stopped at that 🙂
Thank you Sir. Jaggery is more known in India. For better understanding in my country, I put raw sugar, perhaps I should mention the word SYRUP as well 🙂
Thanks dear for teaching us
My pleasure 🥰

My dad would bring us home sugar cane and it was so lovely. Usually took us 2 days to chew it all up.
@@womensarmycorpsveteran2904 Lol…. those were the days. These days, I dare not chew sugar cane sticks anymore. They used too much pesticides 😒
Is it possible to turn it to powder sugar

How long does the cooking take? Up to 5 hours?

Was the difference between jaggery and sugar?

How many kilos of sugar that can make in 1 liter or gallon coconut wine or juice?
I didn't calculate. It all depends on how much sugar cane juice you have, we cooked it with our gut feeling.
Very delicious thanks
Thank you Sir :-)
