Wow! I own this movement cal 1887/heuer01. Its just amazing to see how the engine that beats on my wrist is being assembled. Thanks for uploading this video!
Kraken1000 not disagreeing but all chronos this price range like the 7750 etc all look really stamped. And not particularly high quality stamping either. You arnt going to buy anything truly hand finished until you start looking at independents. Even modern pateks look like shit these days compared to their glory days of patek extra quality pocket watches and the like
Didn't found assembly in this video, just put one bridge and that's all. Movement is based on ETA, as I can see, quality maybe similar to 70s citizen or seiko split chronographs, but that was affordable watches and this is much more expensive. I would not buy one, better to buy from micro brands, because of smaller volumes, they put more attention to the details, than this one that trade with it's brand.
@@felixarbable that's correct. Some people think they know what they are talking about, but in reality they using regurgitated shit from the internet. 🙄
The movement is based on the 6S78, which was made by Seiko for the Seiko Credor line by their Shizukuishi Watch Studio. Credor sits at the top of Seiko's line of watches alongside Grand Seiko (in terms of both price and build quality) and the Shizukuishi Watch Studio only provides service to Seiko's very high end watches. In terms of quality, having a Seiko Credor movement in a Tag is like having a Rolex movement in a Tudor or Longines - i.e. a massive step up from their usual internals. What is more, the 6S78 was made in 1998, which makes it a very modern movement, and if you knew anything about movements you would clearly recognise the column wheel as well as the completely different placement of parts - how can you mistake it for an ETA movement?
The Corolla is decent value for money. TAG Heuer is more like a Volkswagen Phaeton with one of those engines that were involved with the emissions scandal.

😍👍👍👍from of🇲🇾
Having a problem with mind the watch is working slowly and I have change the battery
It looked a bit too 'stamped out' rather than hand finished for a watch that's aiming for quality. I wouldn't mind seeing a complete assembly video.

Finishing looks noticeably rougher on the "01" than the original 1887 movements.
Keep in mind you are watching a class and the movement being used are for training purposes
Iwant this watch methods

You are correct and wrong at the same time

When do they fit the plastic spacers?
Wrong watch idiot
Fun to watch but the Tag Heuer finish today is just terrible. Not the same company as Heuer was.
Toyota corolla of swiss watches

they tested a toyota on top gear...couldn't kill it....would the other swiss watches stand up to it.
