Invite someone to speak a teaching sermon during this time when Native People are celebrated. Here is a blessing for NLF. Acknowledge each week whose land NLF stands on. This will do much to show and remind the congregation who we are and that we are still here.

Lastly pray for the missing and murdered Native American women. Pray that Natve peoples lives recover from the impact of racism and colonialism and thrive in our own land. Pray for the end of racism and colonialism. Pray for the release of political prisoners including Leo ard Peltier.

Tell the people that most Latinos and AAs are descended from from the Native peoples of their lands including Iroquois Mohawks who helped build the skyscrapers of NY and have reservations near Canada in NY, and Cherokee, Tainos from Puerto Rico like you, Caribes, Patchauges , Montauks, and peoples in Connecticutt that have casinos you can visit. Wampanoages. There is the AICH, American Indian Community House, in Manhatten, land of the Manahatta, that has ongoing events . Lastly there is a museum at the southern end of Manhatten in the old Customs House, Hayer Museum of the American Indian that has a much larger counterpart in DC. Go online and see all the many FB groups devoted to and run by today's Native peoples. We are still here!
