I would do the same. I watched my 38 year old husband decline in a 24 month period. My Dad at 85 was diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer. They wanted to put a chemo port in. Dad refused treatment. He checked out of the hospital. The doctor said he’d be gone in two weeks without treatment. Dad ignored him. Dad lived 5 more years of a quality life including travel and passed at 89 from a stroke. He didn’t die from the “cancer”. Praying for your healing

I totally agree. I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in my parotid gland( not on skin). I had surgery on 3/7/24. On my first visit back to the surgeon, he told me that I was going to have chemo, radiation, a tonsillectomy, a biopsy of my larynx, and to top it all off further surgery on my neck. He told me he got all the cancer from the parotid gland. He told I would have this done ASAP. The whole time he was telling me this. I was thinking “No”.

@@christophermoltisanti7019 that was beautifully said. Yeah they make you feel guilty for not putting all that poison in your body, and not burning your insides up with radiation. I watched this young lady on RUclips she was 34. She had stage 4 lung Cancer, it was slow growing but she did all the chemo and radiation nothing worked, she was just sick and tired all the time and unable to play with her 7 year old boy and 5 year old beautiful little girl. After all that misery she tried the trial drugs and immunotherapy and everything else they presented to her. She only wanted to live for her babies. She lost her hair and she was skin and bone. It was so horrible to watch. Her name is Jenny Apple she RUclipsd her daily progress along with her amazing husband. He’s still vlogging.
I still go every 2 weeks to see my favorite palliative care nurses and the Social worker, they were there for me, let me cry for a hour and sat there and listened while I was ranting about my life, even though they did try to talk me into having the treatments. They work with the 2 quacks that are only there for the money that’s streaming in. I could never be an oncologist. Even my palliative care team admitted that it’s all about the money to those men. Remember always get a second and even a third opinion. I should be dead right now, when he said that to me it put me in a different mode. I started giving away things, I got on hospice because I thought I was dying so I made myself sicker than I actually was. I was taking a lot of pills for anxiety and depression and pain. I was on morphine and oxycodone and Ativan. I have weaned off of everything except the anxiety medication but I am down to only one 2 milligram pill once a day. Next week I am cutting the pill in half. I am tired of that medication.
I wouldn’t mind staying on the anxiety medication but I read horrible stories on RUclips about people taking them for so long that they have to take more and more, then it takes 5 years to taper down and they are miserable.
There is a RUclips page, people go on there and share their stories about trying to get off of benzodiazepines. It’s a nightmare. I wasn’t on them but a few months. I will shush 🤐 lol

My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in late January, 2022 and was given the standard two to six months to live. She is in far better shape right now than when I picked her up from the hospital after her diagnosis. My brother, a carpenter, gave her the first really good advise, stop eating sugar and starches. After some mis-steps and mistakes, but no medical treatment, my sister's doctors say she is a miracle now when they see her. "Keep doing what you have been doing. Now go listen to Dr. Thomas Seyfried he has many video's on RUclips and you will learn how to attack cancer cells with NO expensive useless poisons. The treatment is CHEAP and it doesn't harm the body.
My Mom was told she had leukemia and had 6 months to live at 79 years old and that if she didn't have chemo that she would be dead. She gave the doctors the middle finger and told them off and did nothing and lived till she was 86. I wish I had known about Dr. Thomas Seyfried back then I bet I could have made her lived till she was 100 and in wonderful shape.

So much respect for you here in the UK. You only have to watch someone you love fighting with the treatment to realise what is right for you. Its a personal choice. Lots of love to you and your family ❤

I survived stage 3 rectal cancer. Treatment 1 was radiology for 5 weeks to shrink the tumor. No problems. Treatment 2 was surgery to remove the diseased lymph nodes. Wasn’t bad. Treatment 3 was 12 weeks of Chemotherapy. First couple weren’t to bad, but by the end it was terrible. I’m now 8 years out of treatment.

Bless your heart. My dad passed from brain cancer in 2011. When he was diagnosed, he chose to ride it out. Didn't want chemo either. It's your fight. You get to make the rules.

Yes you are amazing. Until one has been there, we really don't know, do we? Live your life. Eat keto, if you feel good on that. In the doctor's book Lancet there was an article about a doctor treating a girl with brain Cancer. He threw everything at it. Finally desperate he put her on a diet of steak and eggs. She went into remission. Can't hurt to try Keto. Sugar feeds Cancer. Cancers love sugars. My ay you have many years ahead of you.

You are a gutsy and smart man. I totally applaud your decision. I also have stage 4 cancer but am actually doing well as far as quality of life. I am really tired but at least not in pain and tolerating my targeted hormone therapy well. But if I start having problems with my treatment or my life involves pain and nausea all the time, I'm walking away, too. I will continue to pray for you and hope you find comfort and peace for the rest of your time on earth.

I support your decision! You are brave and beautiful! I lost my father to lung cancer when I was 20yo and he decided not to complete the treatment since it was so hard on him. I finally understand now why he chose that route. My mother in law was diagnosed with lung, blood and bone cancer. The treatment helped with the lung but it has costed her quality of life. She can’t get around very well, she is always tired and sick. And the blood cancer is still there. If I get cancer, I will not pursue treatment. I would just live my days just like I am.

I admire you & you have definitely made the right decision. I watched my dad have radiotherapy for lung cancer to not cure him but length his time with mum & I and having watched him go through that I can honesty say it was wasted time. Like you he eventually said enough. Far better as you say to enjoy the time you have left without all the treatment which makes you so ill with no guarantee.

Big Northern Bear: Hello, your video is touching and those who love and care about you understand that it is your choice whether to continue cancer treatment or not. I do understand how difficult it must be for anyone to endure cancer treatment. Watching your video just reminds me of why we must live life as if tomorrow is not promised to us. Not to be irresponsible or reckless but to find joy in life and not take for granted the time that we are so blessed to have. I want you to enjoy your life. The burden has been lifted from your mind. All the best to you.
