Mike Bloomberg actually trained Mike Galloway how to pull a live breach calf via youtube video. To confirm that statement just personal message Bloomberg's office...his employee will verify the report.!!!
Oh, Goliath's birth. I had thought he would be Moose, but Goliath is good too. There is a bit of bittersweetness in this in that we get one last glimpse of your sweet pup. Thank you for that.
What a incredible save Mike.. you sure step up as needed to be a birthing helper when things go wrong. Thanks for sharing all the tough things to watch but the reality of cattle ranching. Stay safe you and your wife and keep those Wyoming life video's coming.
That sure brings back bad memories. The pull with one guy straining more than mamma. the successful delivery and then that 1 minute afterward that seems like an eternity.... will the calf breath on it's own and make that one huge last hurdle? That is the time I hate the worst. Having the calf move and be alive but unable to take it's first breath. So, glad goliath made it and you got another win. The hardest fought victories are the most rewarding.
Just found your channel. I can tell with 110% you enjoy what you are doing and take much pride in your work also how much you care for your livestock the video emergency C section brought tears to my eyes but happiness at the same time how you did everything you could do to save the newborn live. Thank you for taking great care and pride in what you do
06:15 Mike, Always the consummate gentleman even while totally covered in cow crap, calf slime and barn floor tailings sez to Erin, "I don't wanna' touch your phone" !!! This marriage may last well Beyond The Ranch. Another successful Ranch Moment !!
👋 Loved watching the struggle to save not ☝️ but two lives. It’s hard to save the life of a breech birth. But you did it. I can see you tend your Herd with compassion and love. #AWESOME family you have there!👍 ✝️😊✝️
First video back from break. It's always nice to have good news. I could tell this was vlog style. I like these types of videos. They are true and real.
How amazing! I love the wife and husband teamwork that is so apparent. My husband and I own our own cattle and help our parents run their operations in our "free" time. I really enjoy your videos and the corral system is amazing. I showed my husband the sorting gate setup after your Arrowquip chute and I am hoping to model ours corrals after yours (but with a For-Most chute). Normally it is just two of us working cattle so the more the efficient the better. Thank you for posting your videos!
Wow - glad Goliath (great job on naming, Gracie!) survived and certainly hope mom has calmed down and accepted! Escaping the ordinary! Hope you and Erin have a great week!
The most emotional I have ever been watching a video, was screaming at Mike to pull to get calf out! Erins scream that it was alive was for the ages. Loved it.
Holy mackerel when you were straining, pulling that calf my muscles were so tense pulling right along with you. I had to stop watching for a second and get my body to relax. Amazing you got a live calf from that breech birth even though it took so long. Good job catching on that she was in labor and you were able to save the calf. Real life on the ranch, you never know what's going to happen the next minute. Love your videos so much, puts me back on my farm. Best time of my life.
Shewww #70 big baby boy !!! Awesome Job Mike n Erin !!! With this 70 inch screen I felt I was right up in there with ya I was getting ready to get on the floor and help you pull 😂😂😂
These videos can be light-hearted and easy going or they can be crazy intense one’s like this. Great job getting all that on camera, saving the calf and helping mom. Wow!
What a big calf! I don’t blame mom for being upset. And breach too? Glad you all saved him. Working with the calves was always my favorite part. We had a dairy farm so all our calves were bottle calves after a day or two.
I got the opportunity to do that once to help my neighbor. What an experience. Momma was awesome and would only let me and the farmer look at her baby. His son that didnt help wasn't allowed in stall. Never forget that.
You did awesome! We had a big calf born this year with contracted tendons on his front feet. Walked on his knuckles. We stretched them multiple times a day and made splints for him. You wouldnt know it today he seems normal. Thank you for all the shows and advice!
Josh at Stoney Ridge Farmer posted this and sent us here to tell ya hi. I am now a subscriber of your channel. Good work my friend. Sorry for your loss on the c-section video.
4/28/2020, one of your most intense videos...i liked it thought, missed most of the 24 hr blog, but what i caught was watching peacocks when I'd reather watch bottle feed calfs...you guys didnt have any then. So congradualation, Mike, Arin and kids care team you are now proud parents of bottle calf. Hey Mike ive alwas belive God has a sence of humor. I hope these bundles of joy can help with the 2 losses early in the year...big thumbs up to all you guys
Wow. That was a big pull. Goliath is huge. Between that and him coming out breech, and having you back there messing around making things super uncomfortable, I can understand the mom wanting nothing to do with her calf. Btw, Both of the calves are real pretty. I love how their colors compliment each other. Take care everyone!
Woo Hoo! Welcome to the ranch Goliath making a really exciting birth into this wonderful world. Y'all did an amazing job and just love his most fitting name. Sure got my heart to pumping on this beautiful day, smiles all around. Thanks for taking us along with y'all Take Care & God Bless.
Can't believe after 2 hours labor that baby was alive. I have seen Dr. Pole on Net geo wild deliver many beach births much the same as you did. Moms in labor longer than 2 hours don't have live babys. This baby is so lucky you watch them so close.😊💗
Happy birthday Goliath! Seems like an appropriate name for the "little" fella. Good job pulling Mike. Hopefully mom is over "wanting your guts for breakfast" & she's accepted him back. Peanut is too cute as well.
You should listen to your wife and she agrees with me. Behind every good rancher is a good wife. I’ve been there it’s good to see your passion and team work. Hope he makes it. You should ad a simple squeeze to your head gate to calm her down like on the hi-qual mat pens. You could build it yourself
Great job Mike and Erin! We always hate to see a breech birth. Chances of having a live healthy calf are slim. We've had one this year already but ours didn't make it. So glad yours did!
One of the best vids you have made. Not that you planded it that way ,I havent seen a breatch birth in 50 years. My heart was beating fast just like the first one I seen.
I love my puller. I hate using it, but like I was taught.... its better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. Good job Mike. That is fantastic. You are an inspiration for me to keep doing what we do.
i called mine a calving aid, to help the cow calve as she pushes even with breeches if you only pull when cow pushes until the calf hips are out you can save alot of internal damage to the cow of course when the hips are out you have to go like hell a tip for mike always have the calving gear close to the yolk with other gear you may need for calving another tip after calving a breech attach chains or rope aroud the hocks then you can lift the calfs backside up and hopefully all the fluids will drain out or you could have a winch by the yolk to do similar
Great job, Erin and Mike!!! Erin.....did you say the kids are probably cheering (when you saw the cow wasn't paying attention to the breech calf)? LOL Awesome and exciting video!
Man oh man I never saw one of those deliveries before. I bet you had a very long shower :-) Good job Mike what a turn from corporate to rancher. Happy May day.
Breach's dont usually turn out like that. We were extremely happy it did! A hot shower is always a welcome thing when your covered with all kinds of bodily stuff! Thanks for tagging along.
Great video as always. Miss our daily chats. Lol Kids excited to have calves in their yard. Mastitis mom looks worse than last year. Poor girl. Calf looks good. Goliath is a whooper. Glad he survived. Don’t think mom is going to forgive you, any time soon. Be careful, children and Erin need you. God Bless
Go Mike Go........ like I have said before you do a awesome job and I bet you didn’t see this in your future in high school! So glad Goliath is standing a home run there.
@ 2:45 Whos giving birth? mike? cow? I always appreciate the way you show all the aspects of farm life and don't just make it all happy fun time like a lot of the video makers.
I’d like to see Bloomberg do that!
Mike Bloomberg actually trained Mike Galloway how to pull a live breach calf via youtube video. To confirm that statement just personal message Bloomberg's office...his employee will verify the report.!!!
for shore.
But I could teach anyone how to have calves. All you do is put a bull with cows and the rest takes care of itself.
Mike is so graceful under pressure. I would not be nearly as calm during all this
Wow! Just simply WOW, the life of a ranch. The neatest part of the whole video is that the kids get to learn so much about life.
Oh, Goliath's birth. I had thought he would be Moose, but Goliath is good too. There is a bit of bittersweetness in this in that we get one last glimpse of your sweet pup. Thank you for that.
So, seems Erin is a cheerleader at cow sports with her."GO, COW!! GO, COW!!
🤣😂💃
I love to hear Erin say that.
What a incredible save Mike.. you sure step up as needed to be a birthing helper when things go wrong. Thanks for sharing all the tough things to watch but the reality of cattle ranching. Stay safe you and your wife and keep those Wyoming life video's coming.
Mike you are the man! You guys are a great team. A live breech birth is a blessing. Erin is the best. Thanks so much. See Ya Friday.
That's one beautiful bull, he has a cute face, Mike your wife was an excellent helper getting that mom in the shoot, what a great team
Thanks Sherrylee, I'm slightly biased, but I agree with ya. We do make a good team! Thanks for watching.
Fantastic to have you back Mike
Thanks for being so compassionate, those cute looking calfs
WOW!! Thank God for cowboys and farmers! 😄😇🥰😎💘💘💯💫
I love the way you talk while narrating your videos! Wow I never knew how hard that was, bless her heart.
I agree. That moment right after till the first breath seems like forever! Thanks for watching Dan.
Goliath makes it all worth while. What a sweet baby boy. He is huge and very cute. Great job my friend.
THAT. WAS. AWESOME.
As cattle farmers we know how much of a miracle that was!! Good job y’all!
Bloomberg eat your heart out
love your channel too!
Aj Lewis thanks!!
My heart aches for both the cow, calf and Mike's family. Wow... I bow to all the farmers!
Just found your channel. I totally agree with ya there. How many woman in this world could or would do what Erin did diving right in like that?
Good job Mike and family. Never a dull moment on the ranch. 👍
👋 Loved watching the struggle to save not ☝️ but two lives. It’s hard to save the life of a breech birth. But you did it.
I can see you tend your Herd with compassion and love.
#AWESOME family you have there!👍

Thank you Marylouise. Thanks for tagging along with us.
Good Job Mike. Good looking Bull there.. Glad to see you back after you little vacation from putting out videos. Have a good day my friend.
What a delivery! Holy Cow (excuse the pun). That was a HUGE pull! So glad the calf made it....I can't blame Mom....that had to hurt! LOL Be blessed...
Thanks OZARKMEL. Stay safe and healthy.
OZARKMEL gosh I agree
Incredible video for us city folk that do not understand all the problems that can happen , Thanks Mike!
Thanks Mike, Im always happy to hear from you "City Folk", and glad you've found us. Thanks for watching.
Mike you are the “REAL DEAL “ very impressive
A lot of work having a bottle baby. , Let alone two. Nice work dad to save that calf. God bless
Stay safe. ♥️🇺🇸🌹
Our record is 4. Lol
Simply amazing... thanks for sharing the chaos of your family's life with the birth of the calf.
Its like that sometimes! LOL Just happy things turned out well. Thank for watching.
Good job!!!! Love how Erin jumps right in to help.
Great that the calf lived! You really had to work for him. Glad it all worked out.
We received your jerky the other day. It is wonderful! We really enjoy watching your videos.
First video back from break. It's always nice to have good news. I could tell this was vlog style. I like these types of videos. They are true and real.
Awesome breech delivery with an amazing outcome! I loved hearing the the excitement in both of your voices "It's ALIVE!!!"
How amazing! I love the wife and husband teamwork that is so apparent. My husband and I own our own cattle and help our parents run their operations in our "free" time. Awesome Team Work Guys !!!!!
We are a good team if I do say so myself! Thanks for tagging along with us Darlene.
Holy smokes I’m crying 😭 so happy for you guys that’s he’s alive.
Both of them are so cute!
Great name for that big boy. Hoping to see them more in the future.
6:20 Not all heroes wear capes
Wow - glad Goliath (great job on naming, Gracie!) survived and certainly hope mom has calmed down and accepted! Escaping the ordinary! Hope you and Erin have a great week!
Thanks Debrah. Hope yours is good also.
Wow! The memories of pulling calves. I enjoy your vlogs.
The most emotional I have ever been watching a video, was screaming at Mike to pull to get calf out! Erins scream that it was alive was for the ages.
Loved it.
Thanks Greg. We were both ecstatic on the positive outcome there! Thanks for watching.
Team work , glad to see it ? Congratulations , stay safe ! Bob
Great video! This city boy was stunned that you had to pull so hard on the calf!
Holy mackerel when you were straining, pulling that calf my muscles were so tense pulling right along with you. I had to stop watching for a second and get my body to relax. Amazing you got a live calf from that breech birth even though it took so long. Good job catching on that she was in labor and you were able to save the calf. Dr. Mike to the rescue, I was holding my breath when u were pulling the calf out. So nice to see it is ok.

Hey... Where is Mike Bloomberg when you need him most? LOL Great job both of you.
With so much going on, thanks for sharing with us. The miracle of birth is always a wonder.
I wouldnt doubt that is why Mom was so cranky. Bottle calves are fun until they get a little to big- then they're a handful. Thanks for watching.
I got the opportunity to do that once to help my neighbor. What an experience. Momma was awesome and would only let me and the farmer look at her baby. His son that didnt help wasn't allowed in stall. Never forget that.
Mom's can do some strange things. Thanks for sharing that Shane.
You did awesome! We had a big calf born this year with contracted tendons on his front feet. Walked on his knuckles. We stretched them multiple times a day and made splints for him. You wouldnt know it today he seems normal. Thank you for all the shows and advice!
Awesome job Mike.
What an awesome happy ending! Two live calfs! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
All things considered it couldnt have turned out better! Thanks for watching.
Whew what a great save and family teamwork! Missed opportunity for a Tide commercial, lol.
LOL Hopefully someone from Tide see the video! Thanks for watching.
Josh at Stoney Ridge Farmer posted this and sent us here to tell ya hi. I am now a subscriber of your channel. Good work my friend. Sorry for your loss on the c-section video.

Awesome job Mike!! Great choice of name Gracie!!
You should listen to your wife and she agrees with me. Behind every good rancher is a good wife. I’ve been there it’s good to see your passion and team work. Hope he makes it. You should ad a simple squeeze to your head gate to calm her down like on the hi-qual mat pens. You could build it yourself
The was some great work Mike. I am a subscriber on all social media. Thank you for letting me be a part of your Wyoming Life.

Great job Mike and Erin! We always hate to see a breech birth. Chances of having a live healthy calf are slim. We've had one this year already but ours didn't make it. So glad yours did!
Great video. Been there, done that a few times myself. So glad he is walking now.
Now that's what you call having the will to survive. Awesome job guys
I agree! Thanks and stay safe and healthy.
One of the best vids you have made. Not that you planded it that way ,I havent seen a breatch birth in 50 years. My heart was beating fast just like the first one I seen.
Thanks Barry. Your right about that you cant plan a breach, and if ya could WHY would you want too? Thanks for watching.
Gilbert would be so proud of you Mike
Thanks, appreciate that Bama Boy.
Wonderful outcome! How could anyone give this a thumbs down?
It sure was Fred. Thanks for watching and tagging along.

I always appreciate the way you show all the aspects of farm life and don't just make it all happy fun time like a lot of the video makers.
Just found your channel, gotta give you a huge thumbs up! Well done.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Brings back memories of my granddad on the farm.
Your wife was so supportive just like my wife is...!she gets excited when we do this together...!
