- Looking at the Springfield Armory full-size, steel-frame 9mm handguns, the SA-35 stands out for me. It’s a historic John Browning design that offers an...

Well the short answer as to what I would choose is both. I snagged the first SA-35 that I could find several months ago, and I’m going today to pick up the 9mm Operator. Thanks for the video.
I like them both and I chose the SA35 and I use to have a Hi-power years ago and I like the SA better and I have never owned a 1911.
Another good review Dan, I’ve had my eye on that SA35 for awhile
I go with the SA35. It’s a little lighter and points well for me. It can almost be an EDC, while the 1911: less so.
Great video! I subbed and l don't regret it...yet!!! Kidding aside, l love both of these pistols, but l would have to say, they are both very handsome guns, both really nice in every way, but l like the higher capacity, y'know? its just a big plus for me...
Anyway, great vid, keep'em comin!!
I’d love to see a flush slide / frame combo hi power granted I know that’s hard with the way the internals work
I don’t know about other people’s experience, but my kydex holster eats away the cerakote finish on my 1911. I don’t mind because I expect finish wear on my carry pistols.
New Wolf springs in my SA 35, I will go with it, if ……. I had more rounds through it, to really rely on it. My custom 1911, no issues, except the capacity thing, and yes more costly ! Hey thanks 👍🏻
SA-35 all day long!!! SA made the RIGHT Hi-Power in my opinion and I own a Belgium HP, a Mk II and a Mk III. The SA-35 Out of the box is the KING. I like them so much, I now own three SA-35’s.
Have you found the SA-35 to seem loose in its fit? Like a Colt produced 1911? My SA-35 seems really loose to me but maybe that’s normal for the Hi-Power design?
I have a Ronin Commander and really enjoy shooting that pistol. But I really need SA to bring us an Operator Commander with an optic cut. 💸
I’ve got the garrison, the ronin and the operator/all in .45.Love em all!
It uses the tissa sight cut not a Browning
SA-35 VS Operator? Answer. SA's HRT Professional 1911.
Never going back to SA. I couldn’t get my SA-35 to run to save its life. Heck I’ll buy Tisas before Springfield 😂
Could u elaborate? Fail to feed, eject, etc...
A big vague... what issues?
I’m guessing you bought one that was made in the first run…. SA has since redesigned and fixed the extraction issue that was causing all of the issues. Too bad you got rid of your SA-35. I bought a used one from a guy for $375 when he was asking $450. He had full disclosure and said he had nothing but issues at about the 1,100 round mark. It had a low serial number of HP2xxx. I replaced the extractor with a King’s Gun works CNC extractor myself and the gun is my regular “shooter” now with zero hang-ups. I’m at roughly 3800-3900 round through it myself and it’s a joy to shoot. I also bought two brand new SA-35’s with consecutive serial numbers last year. Both guns, no issues.
Sa needs target sights it has some dumb tissa sight cut and shoots so low as it's a combat sight picture and then add an inch always buy 6 o'clock or target sights.
SA 35 has nothing to do with Tissas
All “American made” Springfield pistols are just renamed Turkish made Tisas with twice increased price tag!
Got proof
@@douglaschappa4330 if you looking for proof just open google maps and try to find metal foundry on the Springfield Armory territory in Geneseo, IL. They claim everything include “forged steel parts” they proudly made in one place in Geneseo, IL…
No
SA35 isn't a Turkish gun..... internet rumor
Say you can’t afford a sa-35 without saying you can’t afford one
