- Combining the very best versions of this amazing song - including excerpts from David Gilmour in Gdansk, Pink Floyd live in Pompeii, the original 1975 studio version, in concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2006, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Roger Waters playing live. It also includes an extremely poignant Syd Barrett transforming this wonderful music adaptation into probably the best version ever by niKos Fusion.
Been a Pink Floyd fan since the mid-1980s. I listen to their music non-stop this is got to be one of the best versions of shine on I've ever heard it's beautiful

I love Pink Floyd's music after the departure of Syd, but if it wasn't for Syd's massive influence as a musician, as a friend, the love they had for this guy, we would've ever heard the Album Wish You Were Here, &I'm sure many before that one&a few after that one

Yes..I actually miss the past ...lots of good years..72-84 party..concerts..traveled abroad..experiences too many to mention..been told should write a book..am 62 and figure about 73 is a good age to call it a day..NOT Suicidle but in sleep..dreaming of fishing would be a pleasant way to wrap it up..
