Hi willie once again you showed to the world the beauty of curacao or Dushi curacao the one happy Island with friendly .You had Arepa with chicken with cassava .Arepa is south American food .best arepa from Venezuela. The building u showed with Flag and security is called Kranchi or registry office. The rent of shooping Place minimum $ 1500 . Willie tks for talking to me infront of my shop and showing to the world we take care of big people too😂
Jagadeesan my friend, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you! Thanks for all the tips you provided then and for the additional information you provided in this post. That arepa is one of the best things I've eaten on all my travels! Glad you're enjoying these videos on Curacao, I have a few more coming so watch out for those :)
Exploring Curacao, a former Dutch colony, typical Dutch house buildings but still have the culture of Curaçao located on the rooftop cafe. beautiful and very interesting. Thank you for sharing stories from Curacao. greeting and support from England
Thanks for watching and commenting! Glad you enjoyed this video. Definitely and interesting experience and I highly recommend Willemstad as a destination :)
El recorrido por todas esas calles me hizo recordar cuando viví en Curacao, fue muy nostálgico para mi, tengo 20 años sin poder ir a Curacao, gracias por su video, se lo agradezco de Corazón.🥺🥺👍
Well Willie, once again an interesting walk. The colours and the painted stripes are fascinating. Once again the people are so friendly. Wonderful to see. Kiwi from Virginia
I just discovered the vlogs you made in Curaçao some time ago and enjoyed these a lot. At minute 37 in this video, you were wondering who this gentleman was and why this engraving was located there. Alfredo Capello Sr. was my father and he was a successful businessman in Otrobanda. He was also one of the pioneers in organizing and uniting the other businessmen and women in Otrobanda. As written on the engraving, he died in June 1992 and before that for a long time had been the owner of a small-scale department store called "La Bonanza." It was located in that building but the business went south and had to close forever in April 2005. 😪
Thank you so much for your kind words and for providing the information about your father! It is wonderful that Willemstad and Curaçao honour and celebrate him in this way. The hospitality and friendliness of the locals stood out for me on my trip there, and I'm pleased that I had the opportunity to visit. Danki!
@@willieexplore You're welcome! Great to read again that you enjoyed your stay in Curaçao and its sister islands as well. Keep up the good work and safe travels!
A fascinating tour, Willie. Thank you! It seems the island is such a confusion of languages and currencies, too. I always admire people who are so multilingual and effortlessly switch from one to another!
Nice one Andy! This really was a nice day of travelling. Glad you enjoyed it! Yep, most of the locals speak four languages. You can use US Dollar anywhere in Curacao but change is mostly given in the local currency.
Not sure what those pink trees are, but they had them all over Argentina and Uruguay as well, very beautiful. The coloured buildings are also very nice. Atlantic Canada has some places that do the same, but I've always liked the diverse colours of these regions.
Loved all the variety of colours in these cities / towns re the buildings. I still wonder what makes someone pick a particular colour over another. As for the pink trees, good question! Maybe someone can help us out in the comments
Such a beautiful place, Willie. Even the more run down buildings had character with all the colour and the plants. Interesting fact about the sun glare too. The hotel and the food looked very nice. Hope the gentleman was lucky with the lotto 😊.
Thanks Sheila, I really hope those numbers brought him luck! The sun glare fact is fascinating for me, not least because of South Africa's Dutch colonial past where most of the colonial buildings are white. And let's not forget the colourful clothes in the shops too! Cheers for watching, as always
I imagine the way people speak Dutch there sounds a little like Afrikaans, too, but I wouldn't know...haven't been to that part of the Caribbean yet. Anyway many thanks for sharing your videos. I've enjoyed the ones I've seen.
@@jaycorwin1625 I could actually get around a bit with Afrikaans, but most people speak English well. Glad you enjoy my content, appreciate the support!

Nice one! Thanks for clarifying. Already hungry again :)
Vrystaat!!
Die oranje span!
Dushi Curaçao ❤
Dushi! Thanks for watching and commenting :)
it looks like cleaner, richer version of Cape Town.
I can see why you say that! Definite similarities in architecture but no big mountain :)
