Great review, thanks for posting. This does seem like a great little tool to compliment my silky big boy. This is also a great intro tool for my 4 year old.
I use exactly this saw when I go outdoors. To process some firewood for my volcano stove or a small campfire , I seldom need to cut more than 4" diameter wood, so this small but sharp saw is the best choice for my requirement. Also love the fact that replacement blades in this size are inexpensive and seldom necessary: even if You hand this saw to someone who don't know about the proper use of a pullsaw, this short blade is almost immune against bending.
JIUJITSU2000 mine too, matter of fact my next upgrade will be the katanaboy 650 or the 500 not sure yet which one. I have just honestly never ever seen a saw that dad blame sharp, and that Pocketboy can sure process some camp fire wood real quick and even process wood for shelters quickly and effortlessly. I'm impressed so much with them because I have had 3 strokes and I tire quickly and easily but with that Silky it is like none to very little effort if any at all. I personally will never ever buy any other saw other than a Silky from now on. But hey that's just what works for me and it didn't break the bank getting one....
JIUJITSU2000 yeah I just watched your video on the katanaboy 500, and your video just helped me make up my mind on which one to get. I am however disabled and on disability so I will have to save up for about a year or two too get one, but that is the one I will get, the katanaboy 500 for sure....thanks for the great video and thank you for your service to America sir...
Alabama Bushcrafters the big boy mm is much much cheaper and will cut large diameter stuff too. I've got a video on that too. Thank you for the very kind words and support you give my channel. It was an honor to serve this country I'd go back in a heartbeat if needed
Seems to me if you always keep the dang little saw in its CASE, like you should... unless you get a nice little leather case... there should be no issue regarding your not liking that the saw will not lock closed. Buddy, use some common sense there. ;-)
To address the lock when folded just tighten the bolt holding the blade. It won't open unless you make it open

+The Christian Frontiersman my daughter started off with the saw similar to this that I picked up for like 6 bucks at Home Depot
