Excellent review! Answered all my questions about the size, the flex and the teeth size, all the topics I was wondering about and no other review addressed. Also outstanding demonstration on cutting different materials and diameters. Thank you very much, now I'm absolutely sure about getting the Pocketboy 130 medium teeth. Subscribed also! Greetings from Hungary! :)

I have been using silky saws for many years and I still think they are the best, I have several the one I keep in my fire kit is the pocket boy.

great video, thanks.. just wanted to add that the tooth-size should depend on the type of wood that's being cut. large teeth are for green woods, medium for soft woods and fine teeth are best for hard woods :)

it depends alot on the type of wood. in my country it is mostly soft wood and every saw have big teeth.

Thank you for awesome review man. This spesific saw is on sale at my near shop so Im goinf to go and purchase it right on tomorrow. After that when, I can afford it, I am plannimg to buy the gomtaro root saw in addition. That could be a really nice combo I think.

I just bought a Laplander and I'm not impressed with it's weight and size for backpacking. Isn't the Pocketboy 130 6.2 oz, not 4 ounces?

Is that 4 oz without the case? Just asking because it's listed as 6 oz

On every review this saw looks like its just sinking through the wood... Is it that sharp?
I have some cheap copy of that and i bet it doesnt cut nearly as fast (it is old and rusty though)
