Thanks for brilliant video. Listen to it on wireless buds and the sound coming from it was amazing. You did a great job of showing that product. Once again many thanks
Glad it helped. Thank you
By far the best demo I have heard…Thank you.
Stunning video quality and edits.
Glad you liked it 😊
bro that bar is next level!!
Well explained
I’m getting this sound bar it’s good for the money
Congrats
Good Presenation
Thankyou 😊
I also got my hands on the LG SL7Y. It was just 234 Euro in Germany. You are dependent on an Android device for the setup. The Chromecast function is laggy and currently for some reason it does not work with spotify. The sound is mediocre. Too much highs and very bass heavy. I could barely hear the mids. Packed it back and have returned it. I was really sad, because I too got the SPK8 and wanted to use it as a real 5.1 sound system. I cannot understand how the review state that it is a good soundbar since you bacially cannot use the network play option and the sound is not good at all. In the end I got a Yamaha YAS 207 and it has a pretty decent sound. The mids are finally there. With clear voice you can watch tv. I do not have 5.1 that is my only concern, but at these price points (below 400 Euros) it is hard to get a setup without any compromise. Since nice sound for music listening and the network streaming capabilities were for me more important I can really recommend the Yamaha (works flawless with Amazon Alexa).
I also read a very bad user review about the LG SN7Y which has even the dolby atmos capabilities. It has the same problema with bad sound quality, bass heaviness and lack of the premium feel.
Great sound! What type of lights you have behind the tv and how are they connected?
Glad you liked it. They are RGB led strips
Recently purchased one after looking at your review, thanks
I have a question, if I set the sound effect to MOVIE will it automatically pick up the Dolby and Dolby atmos based on the content or do i need to use AI PRO mode?
You can feel the difference when you listen to it. In my model there is no movie mode instead there is bass blast plus. But it will give extra bass and rear channel will be activated all the time. So if want to distinguish each channel, I would select either standard or ASC mode
If the soundbar doesn’t have the logo atoms it won’t work
I don't have the budget to buy spk8-s speakers. I might buy them in future.
Is the soundbar and woofer still good without the spk8-s speakers?
Yes they are good for the money. Spk8s are for surround sound mainly
Hey I need to know does connecting this to an optical cord instead of hdmi make it less effective ? Or is it the same thing
For SL7Y there is not much of difference since it supports dts and dolby digital plus only.
Just set mine up and connected it to my Samsung Q70 via Arc cable and it sounds good but when I put it at max volume it sounds kind of low for being 420W sounds system. However, when I connect via Bluetooth to play Spotify or any other apps from my phone its BUMPS loud! Any idea what is limiting the volume from the Arc? Any help would be appreciated. Been trying to research why and follow your video but haven't figured it out yet
I haven't faced this issue while connected to lg c9. Could be something to do with tv audio settings? Or the source
@@GTCREATIONZZ I appreciate the reply! But I've tried all possible tv settings and cable box setting. Even connected a optical cable straight from cable box to the sound bar. Also connected its via Bluetooth to the TV directly and still low. Just doesn't make sense if Bluetooth from my Samsung note 20 ultra is extremely louder than the Bluetooth to the tv. Last thing I am thinking is its the arc cable itself or just bad compatibility with Samsung tvs?
Try to enable pass through in cable as well as tv if available
Thanks for this video, very helpful. Also, did you connect with a LG Tv? Because I have a Samsung tv and I really like LG soundbar as compared to Samsung
Glad this video helped. Yes I have connected to LG c9 OLED TV.
if your Samsung TV can passthrough multichannel surround, you can definitely consider it( if your requirement is to get 5.1 surround)
Hello, you have placed the soundbar infront of C9. Yours is put on table top so doesnt the soundbar restrict some viewing portion on the TV as soundbar height is more.
No. It will not cover visible area
Any issues in remote reception for TV as soundbar is front of it?
The remote controller is RF based. But for turning on/off only you may need to raise the controller bit high.
What are the differences between the SL7Y and the SL6Y soundbar?
On LGs website they seem to have exactly the same size and both are 3.1 systems
Sl6y don't have WiFi and chrome cast audio. I hardly use them.
@@GTCREATIONZZ thanks for the answer! I will probably go for the system I find for a better price or at second hand then.
Sadly, the 2020 k-models come with a slightly bigger subwoofer that wouldn't fit into my lowboard anymore. So the 2019 sl6 and sl7 models are the better choice for me.
My back speakers worked first time hooking up, after first use they stopped amd ideas how to get them going again?
Try with different sound modes. The rear speaker "always on" work in certain sound modes.
If not working, try resetting the sound bar
Female vocals have trebleness in their voice naturaly.
But here in this sounbar Male vocals also have trebleness in their voice that is lil bit awkward this is the only drawback i've noticed here in this soundbar.
Definitely, it is the fantastic Hi-Res Soundbar
Why do you use optical instead of HDMI?
Hi. This is just for demonstration purposes as the optical cable is coming with the box. My unit is connected via HDMI.
since SL7Y won't support uncompressed formats like true HD, DTS HD, etc, it won't make a big difference between using HDMI cable and optical cable.
At what price you bought this in India. One website showing its cost whopping 60k which looks unbelievable
I bought from Malaysia
Does this display light on soundbar ever goes off?
It dims. Never be a distraction
from where did yuh bought it and fir how much can yuh provide link or offline store address
Hi. I got it from Malaysia. You can look for SL6Y, which is having similar specs like SL7Y. But chrome cast (audio) is missing.

If you have higher budget, you can consider SL8Y too. It has those upfiring dolby atmos speakers.

If you get any of these, always good to add SPK8S surround speaker for ultimate experience. Good luck
@@GTCREATIONZZ thanks brother. :)
Should i go for this or sn7y model?
It is good
Does it work well if the TV is HDMI 2.0 only or do you need HDMI 2.1 ? Thanks
LG SL7Y support ARC only. Makes no difference if you have HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1
If you plan to upgrade your TV (with HDMI 2.1) in the near future, advise you to get a sound bar that has eARC.
Where I can get LG spk 8s
Not sure where to get it in India
You are silent in many parts of the video and somethings can be seen happening on the screen. Without your audio telling us what's happening, it becomes difficult to understand the action on the screen because of the small screen of my mobile or laptop. I think you should be speak out through out the action taking place on the screen. The viewer is here to get a review, not to enjoy the music as such. Otherwise, the quality of your tutorial is way above the rest of the reviewers.
Appreciate your suggestion, will consider in future videos😊.
Best budget sound bar with no price. Okay let me Google it.
Ikr smh
What is your tv?
