    Every time I watch your videos I always get really excited to get back to work on my own kits and your videos have inspired me to kind off jump out of my comfort zone and try new techniques.
    Many thanks Henry and I look forward to seeing more from you (really curious how you are going to do the HG Sazabi) !

    I painted the metallic pieces for the inner-frame with alclad airframe aluminum, and god the metallic gloss on those looks incredible. Have it all bagged up for now. Eventually I'll work my way to it.

    What kind of topcoat do you use on metallics, like with the shield? Also, as far as Katoki redesigns, I like his stuff but still respect the original. I actually prefer his early series wing gundams and prefer the Okawara ones for the upgraded late series versions. Also, his ZZ Gundam was a godsend.

    Get yourself a flexible masking tape mate, either pinstripe masking or one of the hobby ones. Gonna make your life so much easier when it comes to the rounded parts.
    Great upload mate

    What brand of gunmetal do you use?

    Love the your videos but I have a question what topcoat should I use if I'm using enamel paints specifically testors

    • @TsorovanZero
      @TsorovanZero 5 лет назад

      A lacquer topcoat will work fine if you let the enamel cure for a couple days. Testors has a topcoat that should be perfectly compatible, or the Mr Color topcoats will work.

    i have better idea, refitting HGUC armor into real grade body. since RG sazabi has the correct proportion

    i love watching your builds! wish i had the courage to paint mine but i’m afraid they’ll look trash and i don’t want to ruin the kit. also will you be attending NewType BuildCon this November in San Francisco?

      Get some cheap HGs to paint up. If you mess them up, no big deal. Once you have a paint job that looks good, put it on the Sazabi. Also don't forget that paint can be stripped off.

      @@TsorovanZero Good advice. If you don't start somewhere, you'll never start, period.

    I really wish there was a modern accurate version of the Nu and Sazabi. I wonder if anyone has used Gold for that inner armor frame because idk visually I think it'd look good.

      The RG versions?

    • @MrChiron12
      @MrChiron12 5 лет назад

      @@andrewinfosec I have the Real Grade Sazabi, and will be getting the RG Nu Gundam. Yet those are clearly not accurate to the movie with their panel lines, and opened cuts in the plastic showing the inner frame.

      The old HGs are perfectly good even compared to modern kits imo.

      @@autismo721 Those old HGUC kits were pretty solid, and the only thing I feel like they lack is simply articulation.

      @@BLAZE084 yeah, but I dont have an issue with the bellbottoms of the Gelgoog, or the Dom. Just something about the suit proportions, I wonder what it would look like with Sinanju legs/waist.
