hey man. so I'm a concreter by trade in Melbourne. got some quick tips for ya, 1. ware gloves bc cement cryed out ya skin really bad. 2. mix the bag in a bucket then use the back of the shovel and basically press it down Into the ramp
@@GregBarling Also that stuff is really bad for aluminum bike parts. If you have any alloys on your bike, dont get any uncured concrete on it.... that includes the dust that flys when you toss a shovel of it onto the dirt....
I've told you before Greg, but i just gotta tell you again!! Your craft in making these jumps is fucking amazing man. You're fucking good at building these things, they come out absolutely fucking amazing!!!
Bro you got a lot skills but there's one thing you forgot to add into the dirt some branches it helps to reinforce and it lasts longer trust me bro I hope I see you one day because you got the nicest back yard ever
@@GregBarling that's pretty strong material but for the dirt on the top is better to mixed with small branches to avoid cracks I'll recommend you that try it on one of those small jumps try it and compare which one last longer bro greg was a pleasure to have a couple words with you so have a good night and keep the good work pace out✌
Hey man awesome jumps. If you wanna get rid of those rocks in the concrete you sived out just buy cement. Concrete is the mixture of cement, sand and rocks which all binds together and hardens. Cement is what actually goes hard and you can but it even cheaper then the concrete you bought. $6.60 a bag from bunnnings. The reason concrete is mixed like that is because the rocks and sand actually make thick peices of concrete stronger like rubble in jumps. If the cement is to weak on its own try mix in some sand.
Hey bro, you have got the place looking bloody mad! I found it easier to use the builders concrete that you have to mix yourself. I think the ratio is 3 or 4 parts sand, to one part concrete mix. You also don't get all of the big bits of gravel in the bag. See if you can get a bag and try it with sand instead of gravel.
Hey dude! Just came across your vids! AWESOME!!! Btw, hello from Sunny Island, Singapore! I build trails too, but nothing compared to what you are building man! Keep up the good job! Really wish I can have this kinda space for my building! Such an inspiration!
You can buy Portland Cement which is one of the main ingredients in concrete and then mix it with a little sand or dirt that way you won't have to deal with the gravel in the premixed concrete.
Seriously invest in a polymer soil stabiliser!!! Upfront cost is a little pricey but your jumps will never crack or need watering again! We use is on most bmx race tracks now. Can either spray it on as pure glue or screen it on as a slurry mixed in with clay and water for best results !
Why were you building in your socks my man, put some ads in your videos so you get some cash for some good building shoes.
YessBMX dirt sticks to the bottom of your shoes bro
Does it not stick to your socks too, just get some smooth bottom shoes. 🤷🏼♂️
I think he is building in his shit shoes so his fresh ones arnt destroyed but ya get some mf nice shoes to build in
YessBMX I don’t think he has been monitised yet
The socks are more gentle on the fragile top part of the jump, and are less likely to chip the edges
Love these Dirt Jump Updates!
Good to know!
me too
Your dirt jump updates make my month man, as always keep doing what you love and we'll be here cheering you along my friend!!
Thanks man, I appreciate the support legend!
You should make a massive 180 berm thats a shark fin ( look at matt jones video) to turn around and continue the line
Yoo i just checked out matt jone's video and that looks so sick!
Problem is that this is straight dirt jumps and not a dirt jump trail.
It would kinda fuck up the flow.
@@oskarfreeski wdym? it would turn in a complete 180 making it go straight back the other direction
@@QmanBikerDude he metions matt jones video, and i woukdnt build it like that
It’s just so enjoyable to watch something cool being built from the ground up
Glad you like it

Love your work dude! That concrete trick is so sick I’m gonna give it a crack one day
Alright bro hope it works out for you!
Why I am watching this at 3:00 am, after I was on a Party...
Because you're a mad dog
its a good idea to put concrete on them, never taught of doing that...

@@GregBarling Online is your best beat to find it. Most companies will send you a bucket to "test" for cheap.
Try adding a line of bigger jumps next to the existing line and then add a small burm do you can carry speed into the kicker
*so
Good idea!
That is nice
The best RUclips ever
Good videos mate, rather then using concrete use cement, will eliminate the little rocks and will be easier to spread with the broom
Thanks man!
You need to do the sidewalls and the other part of the jump... then that concrete will really protect it
Finally. Another dirt jump update
Yeah finally
Love it bro keep up the work maybe make another hoonriding video that was the best video u have ever made
Make a shark fin corner jump after the last jump.
Sick bro I wish I had jumps like that
Thanks for checking out my music last video.
another great video, love it. Where do you get all the dirt for your jumps?
I feel like whoever operates the Xgames should definitely hire you to assist and or be in charge of building their jumps.
You inspired me to make my own Skatepark🤣
Your so good a dirt sculpture
I'm guessing ir in Aus somewhere? Good work on the jumps bro!
Yeah mate, thanks
Try lime stone instead of concrete we use it at our dirt jumps and it works a treat
Cool
I wish I could build jumps like you can
