Yo I actually found a way you can combo into his iceball no kameo, I bs you not. You can only do it off of F1 into iceball and it has to be perfectly spaced to land but it combos, I couldn’t believe it, I did it last night.its not consistent enough where you can do it regularly, but it can be done off of f1, only F1 gives him enough cancel advantage to go into iceball if spaced properly
I tried this and you're right!! F1 does indeed combo into Ice Ball from max range, which is WILD!!! Also, Sub's D4 will combo into Deadly Vapors (DF4) for some odd reason! That's a good find!
@@mrAPchem seeing this makes me want them to buff sub iceball even more, like make it 30 frames, that would be respectable, he would be able to combo off of all his punch strings into iceball and he wouldn’t be able to do it for the low,it’s only 30 cancel advantage, sub needs that. That one buff would make sub a complete character, that’s all he needs to complete him.He would need no more buffs after that, everything can remain the same, gaps , Klone recovery, everything. They could make it he can only combo off of f12 into iceball and I would be happy, give him one sting he can combo into iceball
@@Sdot4445 Yes, his Ice Ball has virtually no utility right now. The way I see it, the Ice Ball needs one of two buffs: a.) Either it gets sped up to 30 frames, but the travel time is cut down severely or b.) Ice Ball gets sped up to 20 frames without any changes to its travel speed. Ideally, I'd want the Ice Ball to function exactly like Tanya's projectile in terms of frame data. But I agree with you - that one buff accelerates Sub's viability a lot. A faster Ice Ball lets him perform better against zoners, get mid-screen conversions (especially after AAs) and most of all, allows him to combo from strings as you noted.
@@mrAPchem I think if they was to buff the iceball they probably wouldn’t make it 20 frames , that would probably be too fast and he already has a 20 frame projectile, it’s not full screen, the ice ball at 30 frames could be his full screen projectile, his clone punch is good , but at times it disappears before it can absorb the other projectile and you still wind up getting hit, if clone punch was full screen then it would be a whole nother conversation, but I don’t think they would buff the iceball to 20 frames, 30 frames seems about perfect, it’s not as fast as traditional projectiles, it gives sub a full combo on hit, so that’s the trade off
@@Sdot4445 That would be a fast Ice Ball. But I do think that the speed would be offset by the slow travel speed. Plus, his Ice Ball has been 20 frames or near that in past games and it hasn't been an issue. And frankly, if Kenshi is allowed to use a puppet to get 40% damage and above or keep people in 15-second blockstrings with 50/50s within and loop it, then Sub-Zero can have a 20-frame Ice Ball and then some with no issue. I'm tired of seeing some characters being needlessly restricted while others are allowed to have everything under the Sun. It makes no sense for Mileena's low fireball to go half-screen while Liu Kang's, Sindel's and Kitana's low fireballs all go full-screen. This is one of the lone things that I fully agree with MK Tom Brady on about this game.
Don’t let Tom Brady see this !😂
Tom Brady... the MK hating grandpa. I think him being a Sub Zero main is the sole reason for his hatred of this game..
If anything, I want him to see this so that he can make use of it and hopefully refine it.
@@mrAPchem He's in the "I hate MK1" club.
For the lin kuei ❄️🥶
that noob mod is beautiful
I know right???? This mod is on Nexus Mods and this particular mod's creator goes by the name of Mike Monty on RUclips.
What If I low block on wake up
Sub-Zero can either forward throw into the Klone or use his overhead.
thats pretty good but have you tested their options? like what if they just jump out
So, here's what they cannot do:
a.) jump forward - they get frozen
b.) attack - they get frozen
c.) call a Kameo - the Kameo gets hit and leaves the opponent open for a full combo
d.) armor out - Sub-Zero has enough time to block and punish the armor move with a full combo
e.) punish unsafe moves - they can sometimes get frozen depending on what they punish with
But this is what they can do:
a.) neutral jump only - but Sub can AA them with a full combo
b.) jump backwards without attacking - same situation as part a.)
c.) neutral duck - leaves the opponent open to a full combo from Sub's F12
d.) block - Sub has a 50/50, so they have to guess, which will likely lead to them blocking low and reacting to the overhead, but leaves them wide open for an untechable throw into Klone
@@mrAPchem great, thanks bro!
@@etoenjoyer7367 You are quite welcome!
Now that’s some tech 👍🏾
Thank you!
FEEL THE CHILL 👍
you can just block down tho or crouch to avoid grab
You can. But if the opponent is doing that, then Sub can use his mid to re-combo the opponent.
Is that skin in the game or is this mods
Mods. From Nexus Mods.
Does ice clone into d34 freeze them in corner? Like the grab
I don't believe so, but B3 Slide will, as will B3-Sareena Demon Flip.
no one getting hit by this fake ass reset 🤣
That's funny - I hit this 'fake ass reset' in virtually every set now these days.
how you unlock this skin?
It's a PC mod from Nexus Mods.
Dope!

Do his bounce then clone immediately and they stuck low enough
