    We are stacked with playmakers, if everyone stays healthy im going to say Deuce gets 500 to 600 all purpose yards. IMO Davis is our RB2 film proves his vision power and can hit it for 30 or 40 at anytime. Deuce like you said can help us out of the backfield receiving or sweeps. His size low center will make him hard to see and tackle amongst the oak trees

    I love when u see guys like deuce flip the narrative an use their size to an advantage. They use to tell him he was way to small to succeed but never let that discourage him but imbrace it to get better. Not just his speed an invasive ability to be shifty he has great vision an uses the o line to blanket him where defenders to even see which way he's going until he pops out the hole hard then he's gone. Tony Pollard and Deuce will be the 1 - 2 punch we should have had with Zeke and Pollard. I think Zeke simply got somewhat stale with the Cowboys, but he may have somewhat of a renaissance year with the Patriots, since his mentality and attitude seems to have undergone a change. I have 2 cousins who played with the Weslaco Panthers High School Football Team, both getting their time to shine at RB1. They were a little shorter, but when they got the ball, they moved like mercury. I see this in Deuce, and I've noticed that it's easy to lose track of him in the mass of the O-Line, and he, just like Emmitt Smith, can find the right creases to allow him to slip through and go supersonic to the end zone. Expect to see multiple TD's this season with his name on them!

    Deuce looks like natural receiver anywhere on the field, not just as a dump off pass.
    And I think you're too negative about "gadget players".
    Hybrid RB/WRs are very valuable. They're a sweet spot in the NFL. Pollard and McCaffrey are more the ideal, but Deuce is at least in the ball park. A big lumbering RB w/o receiving skills can be as much of a gadget in today''s NFL.

    We had a short dude built like a tank just like Deuce when I played linebacker and I would rather have tackled any other player on the team. His power, speed, and low center of gravity made him difficult to tackle especially if head-on. He would get so low all you had as a target head-on was a helmet and shoulder pads coming at you.

    @DoubleMove Vaughn being drafted in the 6th round says more about how the NFL is viewing the RB position than about Vaughn. The FA period backs this up. Even the Draft backs this up as most RBs didn't start getting drafted until the 3rd & 4th rounds.

    • @DoubleMove
      @DoubleMove  Год назад

      I can agree with that, the devaluing of RBs is at an all-time high, but the height and workload did hurt his stock. Even with bad RB value, he would’ve been a top 100-125 pick if he were 6 foot tall. I think the stature scares teams away because it’s not common and we don’t see a lot of guys like him even in the conversation in the NFL. Regardless, it’s a 6th round pick and any production is a big W. It’ll be interesting to see how the team uses him

    Deuce doesn’t need to be the #2 back to make an impact. His forty times are comparable to Tony Pollard and his stature makes him even more elusive. He hits the second and third levels of the defense before they even know he has the ball.
    He can spell TP and rack up big gains, all while leaving the bill of the carries to Malik or Ronald. And McCarthy knows how to punish a defense that tries to stack the box by hitting Vaughn on a curl route against a linebacker or a safety.
    Teams will rue overlooking Deuce in the draft!
