To me Ustad Latif Ahmed Khan was the greatest indian Tabla player!!! It's sad that he died so young. Pundit Viram Jasani is also one of the most outstanding Sitar players of all time. And Pt. Satish Prakash is totally awesome too! Some time before Latif's death, he and Viram, recorded a CD with Gurdev Singh, playing the Sarod. It's called Rags, Malkaus and Megh. It's one of the finest performances of classical indian Rag music of all times!!! R.I.P. Latif.
