His newer eyes are as hollow as they are perfect. In the golden age arc, similar as with Guts, I would mostly notice that he had his own demons when his face or eyes are shown. Guts decided to face or atleast try to confront his trauma while Griffith depended on Guts for his and then felt betrayed by his leaving. Despite the eerie feeling I would always get with Griffith, his eyes were dark and full but filled with emotions and thoughts. When he, "deified" (idk a better word to describe it), his eyes were void of color and heart, they were just perfect.
This is why I hate so many people who just like meat riding the Guts vengeance GRIFFFIIIITTTHH arch stuff claiming he was always evil and femto and griffith are the same. Its blatantly his fall to evil, you can't fall unless you started somewhere.

Dude betrayed his friends, became a demon and felt bad. He can try to reconcile with Guts but everyone knows his hatred for Griffith is essentially bottomless. Especially after he just said he felt nothing after the Eclipse. Much like him when Guts came to save him after years of torture when Guts left them. He can try to "save" Guts, but Guts being broken or enraged yet incapable of harming Griffith like he was when he tried to strangle Guts. The Behelit he has just goes "Ya know what? Fuck it" and starts screaming even though the face hasn't alligned yet showing that it is about to start giving the powers but none of the conditions are needed due to the fact Guts completed most of the requirements but Fate was severed in his case so the Behelit can't see the strands of fate connecting him to his friends, so instead it believes he has nothing but the rage he feels towards his enemies are good enough and everytime Guts faces an opponent that triggers his rage, said opponent gets the Mark of Sacrifice but looks different from the others.
