Hey Joe - might I suggest an idea for future content? How about making a video series, breaking out each exotic maneuver one by one. I think theres much learning potential there, as speed control is crucial when shredding. Thanks for the awesome content!
Flater ski, more rotary at initiation. The problem most racers have with skiing terrain.Allows you to manage terrain with flexion and extension more effectively.
Love the video. When you are making the chop are you using the terrain to make the pop in the transition, or are you hopping the skis? Wish we had snow like that out East!
The pop is a combination of bounce from the camber of the skis and the slight ramp you creat in the snow coming from your landing to the take off of the pop. It does not all come from your legs. Use the equipment to your advantage
@@skidadTVlet the ski pop you; im going to try a much softer/bendier offpist ski than my current one. 63kg/138lbl with low COM compared to a heavier skier at say 90kg/198lbl and higher COM. Equipment matters yup.
This is good.I love the rewinds and the analysis that goes with it.

It’s in the works, just need better footy
Great footage, love you explanations. Certainly helps me understand what the ski should be doing when moving down the fall line in variable terain.
Great stuff, as usual. Thanks.
BTW, you don't realize how heavy those Soul Poles are until you get rid of them!
Mine cracked, I miss them, they were my absolute favorite

Kinda both but the chicken (the terrain) dictates the egg “hop” (pop)
Also go to jay peak for the closest thing yall got to pow
So are you always lifting the tails of your skis when you hop?
Yes
Are you on your all mountain skis doing that? Seems like slalom skis are going to sink like anchors
I’m on a 114 mm under foot, 193cm twin tip
@skidadTV that's awesome 👍 it's not the ski. Remember you say that on one of your other videos.
@@skidadTV have you tried the rustler 11's and ccompared them to the gunsmoke?
Any pointers other than our strength and work to pop into the chop? So I'm not killing the legs.

@skidadTV 10-4! Muchas gracias. 👍
