This is marvelous--I forget how much I loved Bones and Karl was a wonderful casting choice to stand in for DeForest. The slash is so obvious now, but when I was 18 and watching the original I was so innocent and there was no devil internet to clue me in. thanks.
Loved Deforest Kelly he will always be the only true Bones. But this McCoy is really hot and he has the personality down rather well. They just need to have more of him in the movies.

Karl almost didn’t do beyond because he had the same thoughts. Bones is an INTEGRAL part of the triumvirate. They’d be 1) dead without him and 2) treading dangerously into crazytown. The dude is the heart of the group.

it's so creepy to see bones so young, without bags under his eyes or wrinkles... definately a good change in this movie not such a huuge fan of scotty's lack of hair,checkov's rather normal hairdo and the fact that the romulans are bald guys with tattoos instead of hair... and the spock x uhura thing...
