When life is really piling on, I sometimes feel for those that don't get any positive emotion from driving. I don't know what I would do without my driving therapy. Hope life starts treating you better, or at least keeps lining you up with therapeutic rides like no other.
This vintage of Ferraris always remind me of my old Fiat 124 Spider because of the Fiat parts that Ferrari used. Handbrake levers, window cranks, switches etc. The glove compartment door on this car looks like it could have been swapped straight across. The 124 gave you 1/3 of the experience of the Ferraris of its day.
I love these old Ferraris (and indeed Italian cars in general) because it sounds like a wild animal lives beneath the hood. Ted is so right: modern cars are rolling mega computers. The polished rawness is just amazing. Ted: hope your drama subsides in a positive way. ❤
This beauty is all about happy Tifosi noises. That engine roar is intoxicating. A proper GT that can go 100 mph all day without issue in comfort. This Ferrari is no flash. You have made it and nothing else needs to be said.
Happy to see you cheered up by this! You really do have such a special connection to these cars and talent in conveying and sharing those feelings with us. We love you!!! ❤
Many of us (myself included) have used your videos to experience the joy of driving during times of duress. You deserved every bit of the pick me up you got on your amazing drive today, and I wish you well on the rest of the year going forward!
Thanks for letting us tag along too… this is glorious, no other car sounds (or looks) better. This is why no-one needs more than 300bhp, combined with that luscious manual ‘box. Who wants a Lamborghini which has the auto-box and drones as it changes gear, is 700bhp really necessary to blast from traffic light to traffic light - boy racers only need apply! Cheers. 👍❤️😎✅
Good to hear that 4ltr Colombo running so sweetly. Carbies sound well sorted and in synch and that exhaust note is about as "growly Ferrari" as you could ever want. What a fabulous machine...especially in that nice blue.
Really like you driving the modern stuff but love these oldies. Such awesome machines! Thanks for having us tag along during your therapy drive and I hope soon life will sing back as nice of a tune like this V12 does. I love to do the same, however over here roads are so much more crowded that it's not always a smart idea to go and have some fun.
The 330GTC and 330GT 2+2 have always been great cars underappreciated for many years due to the presence of the 275 and 365 series. This was Ferrari's response to the Lamborghini 350GT and 400GT.
Viewed from photos, yes; in person, you'd be surprised. From the driver's seat, it's a pretty darn similar experience. The GTC suspension is arguably better that the 275. The 2+2 suspension is the last use of the solid rear axle dinosaurs - which sounds awful until you try a properly sorted one - its surprisingly good! Then you realize its basically the same suspension as the 250 GTO. Yes, its a little heavier, a little bigger and not as well balanced but that's hard to tell below eight tenths. These cars are damn good because they are so direct - you are part of the machine. From the driver's seat its a very similar experience for a tenth of the price. Rewatch the video and watch that tach, especially at idle - it's driven by a directly coupled springy cable, there aren't any computers smoothing things out to make it easy to read. In my opinion, 9/10ths the experience for 1/10th the cost of a 275. To me, the 330 (either GTC or 2+2) is more enjoyable to drive than any 365. That said, as long as the majority share your view, the opportunity will remain.@@nigelha3699
What a gorgeous car - has always been one of my all-time favourite Ferraris, with its elegant styling and all the right pieces underneath - and what a lovely sound...
Loved all of these late sixties body styles! sounds wonderful too! I am very surprised they allowed you to drive it with the salt residue on the roads, but I'm glad they did.
I have chased one of these around a racetrack on several occasions in my GTV6. Id be all over it around the back of the track and then id just see the swirls of smoke out of the exhaust pipes as it stretched its legs down the straight only for me to catch it again under brakes by turn 2. Wonderful to watch and i was in no hurry to go past
Awww man... just epic! I'd happily take this for some therapy rounds. No really, thank you so much. Now i am happy-crying behind the screen again. Hope your life puzzle parts get sorted soon. Cheers and thank you again! Got to find something to sell now myself...
Thanks. I've owned various Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, and Lancia models over the years and once aspired to purchase a 330 GTV. Of course, they became so expensive, your vids are about as close to owning a Ferrari 330 GTC as I'll ever get. The classic era of Italian cars have that certain something that transcends mere automobiles into something akin to the spiritual.
I lucky enough owning a great sound system. V12 sound rendition is just incredible from your video. Like your driving style, by the way. Hope everythings getting better now in your life man. Cheers
There used to be a guy I'd see driving a silver one of these in the summer all the time. I even ran into him at a gas station in Salem, MA. I still think the guy is a hero. In the '90s, there also used to be a guy driving a Bugatti Type 55 (yes, it was real-he owned a Bugatti restoration shop). When I was a kid in the '80s, odd ball cars were in average driveways all around, but now I almost never see anything interesting on the roads (modern exotics don't count).
11:22 summed up briefly and simply perfectly - I couldn't agree more !! And this GTC is a particularly attractive one with it's subtle but elegant color scheme. I like it better than metallic colors on the SWB.
Speechless.... If only they’d make such wonderful machines today. If only... Guess I’ll just have to live vicariously through you, Tedward! Brilliant vid.
Truly worthy of the prancing horse emblem. The smiles that came from just watching this video, I can't imagine the smiles I would have actually being in the car!
Nice review. You stated that this car is a luxury car. Yes, for sure, but think of how the "gentleman racers" must have hammered these buggies back in the day, sliding the rear out in anger, all around Europe! Awesome!
There were about 17,500 360s made; there were 700 (600 hard top, 100 convertible) of these made. When this was made, cars were built by hand and Enzo was in charge.
I like that thought of it being a more foreign experience now that it once was.. it’s like we’re come full circle where these emotional fun cars are radical again. go figure 😄 I also can get a good idea of how fast it is on camera which is hard to translate usually! The fact that’s it’s sporty and fast but smooth stable and understressed revving out makes it the perfect car but you’re not missing out on anything at the same time like it’s the perfect dose of everything!
I just love the good old days cars as I miss the no dis with engine size or capacity it was all about that classics and the wood and leather is like the best of those years ❤❤
I remember back in 96 or 97 seeing one of these sitting in back of an auto repair shop just rotting away surrounded by weeds. Damn if only I had the means to buy it back then
Great car, love the color combo. A little surprised that you’re driving it with the salt on the roads. My classics are tucked away until the salt disappears in the spring.
The Onassis GTC and Harry Metcalfe‘s 2+2 have non-wood dashes. Which in my opinion look better. You can find both cars on youtube. Also on the GTC I think the alloy wheels look better.
A friend of my Dad’s bought one of these with a failed fuel pump in the early 70s and parked it in the field on his farm. It never turned a wheel on the roads again. Gray over red, it was gorgeous. Such a shame.
friend it's a FERRARI it's perfect. simple, it's a FERRARI, good driving style, I congratulate you, interesting channel, from now on I'm subscribed to your interesting channel, thanks, good content.
I was in junior high when this car came out. I thought the styling was beautiful then, and I still Do. It is so muscular in appearance with those tires and wheels, but not comically so like the American pony cars of the period.
Values are getting up into the $600,000s now on Bring A Trailer. Ignore my estimations of 500k. And if you need a Garmin Watch or Dashcam Please use my code tinyurl.com/GarminxTed
Kinda makes the one I looked at in 1987 priced at $27,000 seem like a bargain.
"I would have children just to sell them on the black-market" - Tedward on budget planning for a 330 GTC.
Welcome to my Ted(ward)Talk on how to get your dream vintage ferrari fast.
@@thatguy-m6pParents HATE this one simple trick!
Yes, but it seems that‘s the one to have in my understanding.
considering putting my 2, or 3 up, depending on the market value. good lord what a car.
You don’t need children. Just sell your two kidneys
Good lord, the noises. This is peak Ferrari.
When life is really piling on, I sometimes feel for those that don't get any positive emotion from driving. I don't know what I would do without my driving therapy.

hugely appreciated
@@TedwardDrives Ted you bring us vicarious joy. We appreciate you man. Look after yourself and keep driving :)
Dark blue over tan has always been my favorite color combo on Ferraris, generally speaking. What a beautiful car.
Same. It oozes class.
A symphony of mechanical perfection.
So THIS is automotive heaven! What a glorious experience! You're a very lucky man, Ted.
I love how thick the sidewall of each tyre is. You can't get 204'14s anywhere nowadays.
Thank you "Boooond Group" for letting Tedward film these glorious vehicles for us to enjoy!

Thank you. It’s been a rough couple weeks 🙏

All EV fans should be forced to listen to that V12 sing
one of the best channels on youtube 🐸
Oh man, one of my many dream cars, love everything about it, classics will always have a spot in my heart

Thank you for this. Seriously.
This video added another 17 mins too my lunch break, My manager would understand😂
Peak car. ❤
As a car for life, to never sell, I'd have a GTC over a Mclaren F1 !

It's amazing how much of the valvetrain you can hear. It sounds like a million locusts and once you hear it you can't unhear it.
My one takeaway from this is that WOW, is that gearing ever perfect! Sounds just like you’d want it to when you catch the next cog.
Also I hope life calms down and smooths out for you soon 🤝
Love your videos man gives a taste of what it must be like to live the dream and drive all these awesome cars .
you just look at it and you KNOW this was the classic ! period.

Shhhh... Don't give away the secret... :^)
Some torque unlike a 250 but still winds up very nicely.
perhaps, but they to my eye, dont have the looks of a 275 or 365GTB4.

It remains super interesting how engine sounds have evolved through the decades
Only one word: "Symphony" ❤

That GTC looks and sounds awesome! Great video Tedward!
Such a beautiful car. The music from that engine is sweeter than Vivaldi.

The Sound of this car is so gorgeous ❤️. Thank you for showing
Saw one in a Connecticut auto show in the 90’s. I believe it was for sale for $67,000. Great content as usual Tedward the 15th.

So far my favorite car on the channel.
This is the kind of car that if I were home watching TV and I heard it coming down the street, I would run to the window to see what it was.
Your videos make me fall in love with classic cars more and more
Truly worthy of the prancing horse emblem. The smiles that came from just watching this video, I can't imagine the smiles I would have actually being in the car!

Don't be afraid to bang it off the redline. These vintage Italian cars relish being driven hard.
Colombo v12 is the king of the engines, and these old Ferraris are the king of the cars. ❤❤❤
I have never even seen one of those, on the road or anywhere! What a car!
There were about 17,500 360s made; there were 700 (600 hard top, 100 convertible) of these made. When this was made, cars were built by hand and Enzo was in charge.
Hope everything gets better for you man. Thanks for the great video👍
Gorgeous car, always loved this sassy yet classy Italian masterpiece
This is one of the prettiest cars I have ever seen.
Perfect video to see on my break at work
A Ferrari 12 in that little rascal! 😲
Love the Italian cars you've been driving lately. Sorry to hear about your personal life man. Anyways that is an incredible sounding V12.
I like that thought of it being a more foreign experience now that it once was.. it’s like we’re come full circle where these emotional fun cars are radical again. go figure 😄
I also can get a good idea of how fast it is on camera which is hard to translate usually! The fact that’s it’s sporty and fast but smooth stable and understressed revving out makes it the perfect car but you’re not missing out on anything at the same time like it’s the perfect dose of everything!
My favorite classic Ferrari. Bonus points for blue.
I am still looking for GTC #8963. I restored the car 1981-1983. Purchased from Ed Waterman on the East Coast. Stupidly sold it in LA in '85.
I just love the good old days cars as I miss the no dis with engine size or capacity it was all about that classics and the wood and leather is like the best of those years ❤❤
What a beautiful car, it makes a nice sound as well.
le son du moteur est fabuleux ! quelle belle voiture ! merci pour cet essai
Love it! Will this be another 1M+-view 60's Ferrari? GTC is worth all the money. Probably a better drive than the cars worth 2-3X.
My absolute dream car....great vid
Good catch at 20 seconds, heart raced for a minute as the hood started to fall.
man that shift looks satisfying
the sound 💆♂️
I remember back in 96 or 97 seeing one of these sitting in back of an auto repair shop just rotting away surrounded by weeds. Damn if only I had the means to buy it back then
Definitely one of the prettiest Ferraris of the era
Great car, enjoyed the video! Good catch on the hood that started to drop closed on its own!!
Close one!
The Type of Car Enzo himself preferred
One question….does the snow ever melt there…..just asking….?….oh ..and gorgeous car…😊
I love this because it's my roads and my neighborhood. I would freak the f out if I saw that going down the road.
Tom we need another air cooled Porsche carrera vid!!
Mine will be out in spring
Great car, love the color combo. A little surprised that you’re driving it with the salt on the roads. My classics are tucked away until the salt disappears in the spring.
Assuming you Don’t have a full detail shop at home that cleans underneath
That was a treat.
Tedward you are unreal
That was the car I wanted when I was 12. Should’ve bought it when I had the chance.
3:00 More than you can afford pal!
My god, that engine made me eargasm🥰☺️👌
The Onassis GTC and Harry Metcalfe‘s 2+2 have non-wood dashes. Which in my opinion look better. You can find both cars on youtube. Also on the GTC I think the alloy wheels look better.
what a sound...
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a Ferrari that makes you happy
That sound!🥰 You should do a ASMR version of this video to with no talking☺️
A friend of my Dad’s bought one of these with a failed fuel pump in the early 70s and parked it in the field on his farm. It never turned a wheel on the roads again. Gray over red, it was gorgeous. Such a shame.
11 MIN - PREACH IT BROTHER. AMEN.
Love the tires
friend it's a FERRARI it's perfect. simple, it's a FERRARI, good driving style, I congratulate you, interesting channel, from now on I'm subscribed to your interesting channel, thanks, good content.
The 330 GTC had a very short but memorable appearance in the movie "Grand Prix" from 1966: ruclips.net/video/ye2Q2E8CMgk/видео.html
Wow amazing video. How do these differ in driving feel from the 330 2+2 which I think is a nicer looking car.
I was in junior high when this car came out. I thought the styling was beautiful then, and I still Do. It is so muscular in appearance with those tires and wheels, but not comically so like the American pony cars of the period.
what a car
Liked before you hit 4000RPM!
Makes me miss my 74 Alfa GTV
Omg, just discovered my new dream car 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
OMG What a machine ❤❤❤
