I'm a Spurs fan, this guy deserved to have a career like Giggs and Figo. He was completely two footed, had good pace, excellent dribbler, possesed superb technique, strong as a bull, brilliant crosser and possesed a rocket shot. Far more talented than kick and run Bale.
A truly magician, a terrific football player. Growing up in the 90's, this guy made me a fan of Tottenham Hotspurs for life. I have been a hotspurs fan since and he's my favourite player ever.
Great video .... I'm am blessed to have seen him play for Newcastle, such a talent, without doubt my favourite 'foreign' player & the only man I can remember seeing, take a corner with either his right or left foot. When we played Middlesborough he actually made Neil Cox feel as if he had gone 3 rounds with Muhammed Ali, he gave him such a hard time. Yes a joy to watch, merci beaucoup mon amis.
"It's a shame the guys in charge at the time didn't think about signing me for the rest of my career at Spurs because I would have loved to do more and give more, for every single person at the club. "When I left Spurs at 31, I knew it was probably the end, inside me, as a passion. I gave so much passion to the club that I didn't see myself giving as much to any other club." - David Ginola
Great, Thank you very much! Your video shows very well that Ginola found peace and his redemption in England and premier league. and he was at his best over there.
nicely put together. as a big spurs fan he was an absolute diamond that shone brightly for us after 3 very very dark years for the club. from 98 to 99 he was on fire and made all us yids proud.
I don't think he's regarded as well in the football world as what he should be. Top quality player thank you Daveed for making this young boy so proud and able to say we had you one of the best players in the league in our team. Never been replaced in my heart at Tottenham.
Thank you for your kind words. As a matter of fact, he has seen it, he tweeted a response to me with thanks regarding it also. Ill post the tweet later
He was definitely best at spurs, an awesome talent who sadly didn't win many trophies that his genius deserved! He couldn't score a tap in to save his life but jeeeez that man scored some absolute bangers! Great hair too lol Top bloke and one of my all time spurs legends, was a privilege to watch him at the Lane, total maverick genius and the yid army loved him!
Los Campesinos! Great montage of Newcastle ('mon the Toon! 4th!! wahey!) and Spurs legend Ginola. #VOTD on 10/10/11 @MusicVice. Great job @TottenhamHotspur2k11
A really great compilation - thank you for posting. The only flaw really is that the legs at 4:35 are those of a completely different Spurs legend - Jose Dominguez!
Wow..... I'm not a football fan, but felt compelled to watch that, and it was mesmerising... Seriously, it made me feel like a child again, playing football when I was a young boy - maybe that's a tiny part of what makes grown men love this game. Also made me think about, and appreciate, the level of fitness these sportsmen have. Peace to all you football fanatics out there :)
As a life long spurs fan, I feel I can can say this this... Ginola and Klinsmann were two extrodanary transfers that gave light to an otherwise very shit time for our club. They embodied everything about Tottenham Hotspur, but unfortunately, they didn't have the team mates to take us to the upper echelons of the Premier League back then (with a few notable exceptions). But, boy did they make me proud.
@amenkel I agree with you there. Many Spurs and Newcastle fans took him to their heart, as he played football like it was an art and he was the artist, and the football pitch his canvas...
Wow imagine a team with Ginola, Klinsmann, Van der Vaart, Gareth Bale, Lennon, Defoe, Gallas, Friedel, Sheringham, Lineker, Jimmy Greaves, Gascoigne, Hoddle, Ardiles, Anderton, etc, etc ..... the dream team !!!!!!!!!!!
Best player I ever saw at the Lane, a true legend and no wonder so many people bought a number 14 shirt and had "The Mutts Nuts" printed on the back :)
@BzzzzBzzzz @DavidGinolaCeze Very glad you aren't seriously hurt. I made this video in tribute to your time playing football, enjoy! David Ginola @DavidGinolaCeze @BzzzzBzzzz THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! MERCI BEAUCOUP!!! DG
Reminds me of Zlatan except David plays gracefully ... Something about his posture with the ball at his fit. Something beautiful to watch, class player!
I absolutely hate it when people nag us saying Bale is the greatest player to ever grace White Hart Lane... When it is obviously this man, David Ginola.
Thank you France for treating your players the way you do... If it wasnt for you guys we would have gone without Cantona and even more special for me as a Tottenham fan... Ginola! Thanks France :)))
Fuck france , they kicked ginola out of national team after one bad cross for which he was defamed byHouliier and everyone in france directed their hate towards a player that played with tehnical abilities and shooting most closely compared to di stefano in my opinion, could have been a bigger legend if the people in france werent stupid.
A great player - pace, power, balance, skill plus that indefinable something that only a few players ever possess... star quality, charisma, presence whatever you want to call it. I'd put him in the same company as Messi and Ronaldo but a little below Michael :Laudrup - which is no shame, everyone is below Michael Laudrup. It's just a question of by how much.
If you don't understand Modric's style of play and what he actually does maybe football is the wrong sport for you, he is one of the greatest midfielders of this generation

He doesn't get mentioned enough. He really was amazing player. They talk too much of Cantona, because he was a goalscorer and a striker and played for Man U, and too little of David. But Ginola was just as good as him and even better technically! Not a bad word about Eric, he was awesome too but not better than David.
***** Thats your opinion, but technically as a player, Ginola was better. Also had a better shot. He just didn't play for a side so mighty as Man U and didn't get to win any major trophies, unfortunately. Cantona was good at scoring, at finding the net and was good in the air, of course. As you said, its not fair to compare them but still, I meant in the way of fame and glory, Cantona got it all and Ginola too little.
Thank God he showcased all his talents in England.
His career was plagued by a lot of horrible managers holding him back from playing his game. He was ahead of his time in terms of ability.
Ginola got you off your seat every time he was running with the ball - can't think of many players who do that nowdays.
An amazing player that made you fall in love with the way he played football.
One of my favourite players ever at spurs, he had the lot because he WAS WORTH IT
I'm a Spurs fan, this guy deserved to have a career like Giggs and Figo. He was completely two footed, had good pace, excellent dribbler, possesed superb technique, strong as a bull, brilliant crosser and possesed a rocket shot. Far more talented than kick and run Bale.

Your comment made the hairs on my arm stand up, your comment inspires true football lovers. GINOLA IS THE BEST PLAYER OF THE 90'S IN THE WORLD!
Not a fan of Tottenham or Newcastle but I respect how much of a legend this guy is it’s amazing to watch all his old matches

He is incredible.

you have to say that he was really right up there as one of the best footballers in the world

Pure magic. Thanks for a great vid. I'm a Liverpool fan but Ginola is one of my favourite players ever. He was basically the French John Barnes :)
This is a beautiful video. Thanks for uploading
Great, Thank you very much! Your video shows very well that Ginola found peace and his redemption in England and premier league. and he was at his best over there.
DAVID GINOLA, The Prince of Parc (PSG) ... love u forever !
First time I see something of this player. Great elegance and lovely skill with both feet. Nice video tks for posting
You are right about those dark moments and what Ginola gave us Spurs fans. Singing Ginola, Ginola, Ginola, yes magical!!
He'd be in my all time prem xi. Skilful, bundles of pace, comfortable on both feet
nicely put together. as a big spurs fan he was an absolute diamond that shone brightly for us after 3 very very dark years for the club. from 98 to 99 he was on fire and made all us yids proud.
An absolute joy to watch play football. Sir, I salute you.
Superb. Ginola and gazza were the best Spurs players in my lifetime
I don't think he's regarded as well in the football world as what he should be. Top quality player thank you Daveed for making this young boy so proud and able to say we had you one of the best players in the league in our team. Never been replaced in my heart at Tottenham.

he has and will always be my fave footballer of all time. NUFC supporter.
This video was worth it. Magnifique!
El Magnifico as we call him in France. The most gracious Paris Saint-Germain player EVER. And as a Parisian, my favourite player ever.
An absolute genius on the ball.
What a class act, will never be forgotten.
you have a champion making team right there and prolly a golden age for that particular club!
He was definitely best at spurs, an awesome talent who sadly didn't win many trophies that his genius deserved! He couldn't score a tap in to save his life but jeeeez that man scored some absolute bangers! As a NUFC fan I think this guy is incredible
Posh Spice is a slapper,
She wears a WonderBra;
And when she sleeps with Beckham,
She thinks of Gi-No-La!
This brings me back, what a legend! thanks for the trip down memory lane :D COYS!
Melody is beautiful
STILL Big Fan of Him (until now) & forever!

@amenkel I agree with you there. Many Spurs and Newcastle fans took him to their heart, as he played football like it was an art and he was the artist, and the football pitch his canvas...
Nice
@TottenhamHotspur2k11 you should do a Ledley King one too. It may sound odd, but he is a true Spurs legend.
Wow imagine a team with Ginola, Klinsmann, Van der Vaart, Gareth Bale, Lennon, Defoe, Gallas, Friedel, Sheringham, Lineker, Jimmy Greaves, Gascoigne, Hoddle, Ardiles, Anderton, etc, etc ..... the dream team !!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you France for treating your players the way you do... If it wasnt for you guys we would have gone without Cantona and even more special for me as a Tottenham fan... Ginola! Thanks France :)))

Ginola : la tecnica di rivera, il dribbling di laudrup , la velocità di crujiff , la conclusione di batistuta !
You can say that again!
GWS Ginoolaaa, glad to hear you came out of the quadruple bypass ok.
at his best he was totally up there
A great player - pace, power, balance, skill plus that indefinable something that only a few players ever possess... star quality, charisma, presence whatever you want to call it.

Excellent :-)))
@TottenhamHotspur2k11 I dunno why the Coldplay music coming into that goal against Barnsley really works! lol!
FernandoNINETorres fantastic goal
FernandoNINETorres 06:35
boyhood hero. still my hero now. modric wasn't worthy enough to wear the no.14 after he did
If you don't understand Modric's style of play and what he actually does maybe football is the wrong sport for you, he is one of the greatest midfielders of this generation
