Thank you for combining my two favorite art firms I do jewelry I started dotting in march....I can use small stones and dot them then use sterling silver wrap around the stone attach it to leather necklace. Thank you so much for this idea I love to paint small rocks the best...mikelle..newyork strong...I watch acrylic pouring artist from Australia and I love watching them do their art work but felt that they were so way above anything I could do but now I'm able to show and post my work to them...mikelle 🎨✍💚💚
The pendants are just precious. So pretty. I really like the way to lose up extra mix. I need to buy a some paint palates thank you for sharing. Huggles.🌷🍀🖌👩🎨🎨💖🇺🇸🦓
That is brilliant! I hated having to throw out my leftovers and since I also make jewelry this is right up my alley!!! You know I bet if you also sold tiny molds for these folks would buy them. I know I would. :D These would make great game pieces as well. Anjela, how long should we let these cure before base coating?
Really creative! truly appreciate your videos. Has anyone tried to use either an inkjet or laser printer to make transfers to apply to these artificial stones? I tried using the decopage method with laser printed transfers but it's way messy. I'd like to maybe use the transfer method for text to use as a guide with paint pens? or even transfer an image to the artifical stones described here.
Hi, Anjela, thank you for your silicon molds, but, I have a problem, with the bubbles,, well I hope do it better, the next time, your product arrived in Spain in time.
This is awesome Anjela! Love this idea very much! I’m in Canada and use Quikrete fast acting concrete mix. Just curious if there are any warnings of using this mixture and wearing it so close to the skin? Has anyone ever posted back to you regarding that? Thank you Anjela! :)
Hi good morning !! I bought your silicone shapes and loved it, but I haven't used it yet. I wonder if you use pure cement? As I live in Brazil the material we have here is different. If you can help me I thank you. thank you very much Flavia
Hello Angila, I love using your molds and your many ideas. My question is do you think that i could use an ultra cal 30 stone that is completly dry in the oven to bake polymer clay on to get it's shape to add embelishments on to my stones. To create more of a 3D effect.
Hi Sandra, certainly people put stones made from Ultracal 30 in the oven sometimes to speed up the drying out process after taking them out of the molds. I really don't have any experience with polymer clay sorry - so I can't comment on that. Thank you, Anjela 😊
Hi, I'll attach some information below. “What powder do I buy to make the Art Stones?” PLEASE SEE RUclips ruclips.net/video/_zGlQ4gA4Jk/видео.html What mix you use depends on your location and what you have available. Many different casting plasters work well. I like using Ultracal 30. Unfortunately, in some places it can be hard to get or expensive. Please note there is a downloadable data sheet on my website with the mixing quantities for Ultracal 30 for each mold and stone dimensions (the same ratios work for Perfect Cast). www.happydottingcompany.com Some alternative casting plasters include - USA/Canada - Perfect Cast, Rapid set Mortar mix from Home depot, Quikrete, Mapei, Dental Stone powder, Hydrocal powders, In the UK - Crystacast or Herculite Stone, In Aust and NZ. I buy my Ultracal 30 from Barnes (a shop in Woolloongabba, Brisbane) - I believe they have other outlets. Another option is Dental plaster by Gyprock (by special order from Bunnings) or Casting Plaster by Gyprock from Bunnings. Mitre 10 and other hardware stores probably have similar products too. Sometimes these products only come in big bags but then it’s very economical. Regards, Anjela
Hi Vicki, many different casting plasters work well - eg ultracal 30, dental stone powder, hydrocal powders - you can find them online, or something that works from a local hobby store or hardware store. Anjela 😊
Awesome! Thank you for another fantabulous video! I can’t wait to try .... thanks for sending out the beautiful heart molds... I ran out of the Ultracal so have to get more. I made several dozen of mold 1 and 2 already. Be well!
I got them from a little shop in Brisbane Australia - called Bead Trimming and Craft Co, but I think any bead or jewellery supply shop will have them. :)
Kathleen, you can also use head pins, the type that has the premade loop on the end or take a piece of wire and using round nose pliers make your own loop and cut to the length you want.
The mold is just a paint palette. It comes in a set I sell with the tri-drops (the small triangular pieces). Available in our Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/happydottingcompany Thank you, Anjela 😊
Omg these are so cute I made several yesterday so much fun
Wonderful Teresa, please send pics to my Facebook page when you've dotted them - I'd love to see them! :)

Love this idea, never done dot painting before but like to try, do you have to let each colour dry before adding another colour, thank you
It's really very beautiful. What is the material /mixture used to make the stone ?

Just received my supplies from you and can't wait to try them. What do you use to seal them with? Thanks
Wonderful! I use either Liquitex High Gloss Vanish or a Resin coating. 😊
I used a paper clip to create the loop. I cut one in half.
Great idea 😊
Two questions.
First, can I pour shallower than completely filling the mold to the top? Secondly, can I lightly sand the back after it’s dry?
C'est une super idée ! Merci de nous la partager. Quels peinture utilisez vous ? Elle est très lumineuse ! Merci beaucoup !
Hello, where can I find the Metallic earrings please? it's so beautiful^^
Such a great idea! Thank you for sharing. Is the pendant also varnished?
Yes it's varnished with liquitex high gloss varnish - 2 coats :)
Which mold is this?
luv this idea!!!!! Have to try to make some!!
Thank-you for sharing 🙏
Could you top it with resin?
💜 You are such a Beautiful soul 💜
I haven't tried but I'm sure you could :)
were do u get the stuff to make them the Art Stone mixture
Hi Vicki, many different casting plasters work well - eg ultracal 30, dental stone powder, hydrocal powders - you can find them online, or something that works from a local hobby store or hardware store. Anjela 😊
This is so cool! Did you just pour the Ultracal30 into a paint pallet?
Yes - that's correct :)
Loved the idea but won't these earrings be heavy weight to wear?
They're not earrings - it's a necklace pendant. :)
@@HappyDottingCompany thank you 😊

cement - just the left over casting mix from making art stones. 😊

Angela, where can I find the earring items you inserted into the mix?
I got them from a little shop in Brisbane Australia - called Bead Trimming and Craft Co, but I think any bead or jewellery supply shop will have them. :)
